Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis perbedaan strategi pembingkaian (framing) dalam pemberitaan kasus keracunan Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) antara dua portal berita daring, yaitu Tempo.co dan Sindonews.com. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan model analisis framing Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Model ini membedah teks berita ke dalam empat dimensi structural, yaitu sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris. Sumber data penelitian adalah delapan artikel berita yang dipilih secara purposif berdasarkan empat momen krusial pemberitaan, yaitu kasus keracunan pertama, kasus dengan korban terbanyak, respons pemerintah, dan pemberitaan terkini. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode agih dan metode padan untuk membongkar struktur kebahasaan sekaligus memaknainya dalam konteks pembingkaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tempo.co secara konsisten membingkai insiden keracunan MBG sebagai isu akuntabilitas kebijakan nasional dan kegagalan sistemik melalui struktur kalimat yang logis-argumentatif, proposisi bermodalitas ketidakpastian, serta diksi teknokratis-investigatif. Sebaliknya, Sindonews.com membingkai isu yang sama dalam kerangka manajemen krisis dan respons cepat pemerintah dengan struktur kalimat ekspresif-koordinatif, proposisi kausalitas yang tegas, serta diksi emosional-asertif. Perbedaan framing ini merefleksikan karakteristik editorial masing-masing media sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa bahasa dalam pemberitaan bukanlah medium netral, melainkan alat konstruksi realitas sosial yang sarat ideologi. Kata Kunci: Analisis Framing, Pan dan Kosicki, Keracunan Makan Bergizi Gratis, Pembingkaian Berita, Linguistik. *** This study aims to identify and analyze the differences in framing strategies in the coverage of Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) poisoning cases between two online news portals, Tempo.co and Sindonews.com. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach using the framing analysis model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. This model dissects news texts into four structural dimensions: syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The data sources are eight news articles purposively selected based on four crucial news moments: the first poisoning case, the case with the highest number of victims, government responses, and the latest coverage. Data analysis techniques used the distributional method (agih) and the identity method (padan) to uncover linguistic structures while interpreting them within the framing context. The results show that Tempo.co consistently frames MBG poisoning incidents as an issue of national policy accountability and systemic failure through logical-argumentative sentence structures, propositions with epistemic modality, and technocratic-investigative diction. In contrast, Sindonews.com frames the same issue within the framework of crisis management and rapid government response through expressive-coordinative sentence structures, definitive causal propositions, and emotional-assertive diction. These framing differences reflect the editorial characteristics of each media outlet while also demonstrating that language in news coverage is not a neutral medium but a tool for constructing social reality laden with ideology..
