Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran berupa multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran Geografi materi Karakteristik Lapisan Atmosfer Bumi untuk siswa kelas X SMAN 71 Jakarta dan mengetahui kelayakan dari produk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Educational Design Research dengan model yang dikemukakan oleh Plomp & Nieveen yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai angket yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kelayakan produk berupa validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media, penilaian guru geografi, dan respon peserta didik dan dalam menganalisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi terhadap multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor 87% dari ahli materi dan memperoleh skor 82% dari ahli media yang mana hasil validasi dari kedua ahli tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Kemudian, penilaian guru geografi memperoleh skor 96% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dan respon peserta didik dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Kelompok kecil memperoleh skor 95% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dan kelompok besar memperoleh skor 97% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sehingga, berdasarkan hasil tersebut media pembelajaran berupa multimedia interaktif materi karakteristik lapisan atmosfer bumi sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah. ***** This study aims to develop a learning media product in the form of interactive multimedia in Geography learning on Characteristics of the Earth's Atmosphere Layers Material for class X students of SMAN 71 Jakarta and to determine the feasibility of the developed learning media product. The research method used in this study is the Educational Design Research method with a model proposed by Plomp & Nieveen which consists of three stages. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire used to collect product feasibility data in the form of validation from material experts, validation from media experts, assessment of geography teachers, and student responses and in analyzing the data using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the validation results of the developed interactive multimedia obtained a score of 87% from material experts and obtained a score of 82% from media experts where the validation results from both experts were included in the "Very Feasible" category. Then, the assessment of geography teachers obtained a score of 96% with the "Very Feasible" category and student responses were divided into two groups, namely small groups and large groups. The small group obtained a score of 95% with the "Very Feasible" category and the large group obtained a score of 97% with the "Very Feasible" category. Thus, based on these results, interactive multimedia learning media on the characteristics of the Earth's atmospheric layers is very suitable for use as learning media in schools.
