Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan, menguji kelayakan, dan menilai efektivitas rancangan pembelajaran biologi dengan strategi inquiry yang terintegrasi media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI di MAN 3 Jakarta pada materi sistem hormon dan sistem reproduksi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Dick and Carey yang meliputi identifikasi tujuan pembelajaran, analisis pembelajaran, analisis peserta didik, pengembangan strategi dan bahan ajar, evaluasi formatif, hingga revisi produk. Kelayakan produk divalidasi oleh tiga ahli (desain pembelajaran, materi, dan media), sedangkan efektivitas diukur melalui uji N-Gain terhadap 35 peserta didik pada empat pertemuan menggunakan pretest dan posttest berbasis indikator berpikir kritis Ennis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan pembelajaran yang dihasilkan mencakup tujuan instruksional, strategi inquiry enam fase mengacu Schwab, instrumen penilaian berpikir kritis, dan media interaktif Genially yang memuat materi, LKPD, dan evaluasi. Validasi ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 86,32%, ahli materi 85,88%, dan ahli media 94,67%, sehingga produk dinyatakan dalam kategori Sangat Layak digunakan. Hasil uji N-Gain pada empat pertemuan berturut-turut menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 0,71; 0,77; 0,83; dan 0,87, seluruhnya berada pada kategori tinggi, dengan seluruh peserta didik pada pertemuan keempat mencapai nilai minimum 0,80. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan pembelajaran biologi dengan strategi inquiry terintegrasi media pembelajaran interaktif Genially layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran Biologi di jenjang SMA/MA. ***** This study aims to develop, test the feasibility of, and evaluate the effectiveness of a biology learning design employing an inquiry strategy integrated with Genially-based interactive learning media to improve the critical thinking skills of eleventh-grade students at MAN 3 Jakarta on the topics of the hormonal and reproductive systems. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Dick and Carey instructional design model, which encompasses instructional goal identification, instructional analysis, learner analysis, development of instructional strategies and materials, formative evaluation, and product revision. The feasibility of the product was validated by three experts (instructional design, content, and media), while its effectiveness was measured through an N-Gain test administered to 35 students across four learning sessions using pretests and posttests based on Ennis's critical thinking indicators. The results showed that the resulting learning design comprises instructional objectives, a six-phase inquiry strategy based on Schwab's model, a critical thinking assessment instrument, and Genially-based interactive media containing learning materials, student worksheets (LKPD), and evaluation exercises. Expert validation yielded feasibility percentages of 86.32% for instructional design, 85.88% for content, and 94.67% for media, placing the product in the Highly Feasible category. The N-Gain test results across the four sessions showed average scores of 0.71, 0.77, 0.83, and 0.87, respectively, all falling within the high category, with every student in the fourth session reaching a minimum score of 0.80. The study concludes that the biology learning design employing an inquiry strategy integrated with Genially-based interactive media is both feasible and effective for improving students' critical thinking skills, making it a viable alternative instructional strategy for high school biology education.
