Abstract

Sinta Amelia, Perancangan UI/UX Game Edukasi 12 Prinsip Animasi Berbasis Website dengan Pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD). Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran pada materi 12 Prinsip Animasi di SMKN 31 Jakarta yang belum mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep serta visualisasi gerakan pada setiap prinsip animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) pada Game Edukasi 12 Prinsip Animasi berbasis website menggunakan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD). Metode yang digunakan terdiri atas lima tahapan, yaitu 1. Plan the Human-Centered Process, 2. Specify the Context of Use, 3. Specify User and Organizational Requirements, 4. Produce Design Solutions, dan 5. Evaluate Designs Against User Requirements. Proses perancangan dilakukan menggunakan Figma dan menghasilkan high-fidelity prototype. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui Preference Testing dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Preference Testing melibatkan 30 siswa kelas XI jurusan Animasi SMKN 31 Jakarta, sedangkan pengujian SUS melibatkan 27 siswa yang mengikuti proses evaluasi. Hasil Preference Testing digunakan untuk menentukan desain antarmuka yang paling disukai pengguna. Hasil pengujian SUS memperoleh skor sebesar 87,04 yang termasuk kategori Acceptable, dengan adjective rating Excellent dan grade scale B. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, rancangan UI/UX yang dikembangkan dinilai mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dan layak dijadikan acuan dalam pengembangan game edukasi 12 Prinsip Animasi berbasis website. ***** Sinta Amelia, UI/UX Design of a Website-Based Educational Game on the 12 Principles of Animation Using the User-Centered Design (UCD) Approach. This research was motivated by the use of learning media for the 12 Principles of Animation subject at SMKN 31 Jakarta, which has not been able to provide an interactive learning experience, causing students difficulties in understanding the concepts and movement visualizations of each animation principle. This study aims to produce a User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design for a website-based educational game on the 12 Principles of Animation using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The method employed consists of five stages: (1) Plan the Human-Centered Process, (2) Specify the Context of Use, (3) Specify User and Organizational Requirements, (4) Produce Design Solutions, and (5) Evaluate Designs Against User Requirements. The design process was carried out using Figma and resulted in a high-fidelity prototype. The evaluation was conducted through Preference Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Preference Testing involved 30 eleventh-grade Animation students from SMKN 31 Jakarta, while SUS testing involved 27 students who participated in the evaluation process. The results of Preference Testing were used to determine the interface design most preferred by users. The SUS evaluation obtained a score of 87.04, which falls into the Acceptable category, with an adjective rating of Excellent and a grade scale of B. Based on these results, the developed UI/UX design is considered capable of meeting user needs and can serve as a reference for the development of a website-based educational game on the 12 Principles of Animation.
