Abstract
Kata kunci: budaya organisasi, employee engagement, Generasi Z. *****ABSTRACT***** Employee engagement is an important factor that supports employee productivity and organizational effectiveness. One organizational factor that is believed to enhance employee engagement is organizational culture. This study aimed to examine the effect of organizational culture on employee engagement among Generation Z employees in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 118 Generation Z employees selected through purposive sampling. Employee engagement was measured using the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9 (UWES-9), while organizational culture was measured using the Denison Organizational Culture Survey Short Form (DOCS-SF). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on employee engagement (F = 47.752, p < .001). The coefficient of determination (R² = .292) indicated that organizational culture explained 29.2% of the variance in employee engagement. These findings suggest that the more positively Generation Z employees perceive their organizational culture, the higher their level of employee engagement. Keywords: organizational culture, employee engagement, Generation Z.
