Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul digital berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) pada materi gelombang elektromagnetik yang valid untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh karakteristik materi gelombang elektromagnetik yang abstrak dan konseptual, serta keterbatasan bahan ajar interaktif yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan STEM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang dikemukakan oleh Branch (2014). Namun, penelitian ini hanya dibatasi pada tahap pengembangan hingga uji kepraktisan, tanpa menguji efektivitas produk secara eksperimental. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon peserta didik yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul digital berbasis STEM pada materi gelombang elektromagnetik dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian para ahli dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 91% pada kategori sangat valid. Pada aspek kesesuaian materi memperoleh 90%, aspek penyajian materi 91%, aspek penggunaan modul digital 93%, dan aspek penggunaan bahasa 92%. Hasil uji coba penggunaan modul digital kepada peserta didik pada skala terbatas memperoleh rata-rata persentase 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, modul digital berbasis STEM pada materi gelombang elektromagnetik yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika, serta dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam mendukung pembelajaran fisika yang berbasis pendekatan STEM. This research is motivated by the abstract and conceptual characteristics of electromagnetic wave material, as well as the limitations of interactive teaching materials that comprehensively integrate the STEM approach. This research is a Research and Development study using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) proposed by Branch (2014). However, this research was limited to the development stage up to practicality testing, without testing the effectiveness of the product experimentally. The research instruments used were expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the STEM-based digital module on electromagnetic wave material was declared highly valid based on expert assessments with an average percentage of 91% in the highly valid category. The aspect of material suitability obtained 90%, material presentation aspect 91%, digital module usage aspect 93%, and language usage aspect 92%. The results of trials to students on a limited scale obtained an average percentage of 88% in the very good category. Thus, the STEM-based digital module on electromagnetic wave material developed is declared valid and practical for use as a physics learning media, and can be an innovative alternative in supporting STEM-based physics learning.
