Abstract

Pendekatan Pembelajaran Mendalam dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pembelajaran yang bermakna melalui keterkaitan pengetahuan awal dengan konsep baru. Namun, materi DNA rekombinan pada bioteknologi masih sulit dipahami murid karena bersifat abstrak dan kompleks sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir analisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, dan menguji efektivitas E-LKM DNA rekombinan yang terintegrasi Heuristic Vee dalam pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis murid SMA kelas X. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Educational Design Research and Development dengan model pengembangan Hannafin & Peck (1988). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas validator ahli, guru biologi, dan murid kelas X pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Jakarta. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-LKM memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 88% pada aspek media dan 92,86% pada aspek materi dengan kategori sangat layak. Instrumen kemampuan berpikir analisis dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Uji coba kepada guru dan kelompok kecil siswa memperoleh skor kelayakan masing-masing sebesar 87,9% dan 84% dengan kategori sangat layak. Uji efektivitas menggunakan desain one-group pretest–posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir analisis yang signifikan (p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, E-LKM DNA rekombinan terintegrasi Heuristic Vee layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mendukung pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam pada materi bioteknologi dan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analisis murid SMA kelas X/The Deep Learning approach in Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes meaningful learning through the connection between prior knowledge and new concepts. However, the topic of recombinant DNA in biotechnology remains difficult for students to understand due to its abstract, complex nature, thus requiring a learning medium that facilitates analytical thinking skills. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of an Electronic Student Worksheet on recombinant DNA integrated with the Heuristic Vee in deep learning approach to improve the analytical thinking skills of tenth-grade senior high school students. This research employed the Educational Design Research and Development approach using the Hannafin & Peck (1988) development model. The research subjects consisted of expert validators, biology teachers, and tenth-grade students at a public senior high school in Jakarta. The validation results showed that the Electronic Student Worksheet achieved a feasibility level of 88% in the media aspect and 92.86% in the content aspect, both in the highly feasible category. The analytical thinking instrument was confirmed to be valid and reliable. The trial conducted with teachers and a small group of students yielded feasibility scores of 87.9% and 84%, respectively, both in the highly feasible category. The effectiveness test, using a one-group pretest–posttest design, revealed a significant improvement in analytical thinking skills (p < 0.05). Thus, the Electronic Student Worksheet on recombinant DNA integrated with the Heuristic Vee is feasible as a learning medium to support deep learning in biotechnology material and is effective in improving the analytical thinking skills of tenth-grade senior high school studentS
