Abstract

Pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Frais membutuhkan bahan ajar yang mampu menyajikan materi teknis, prosedural, dan perhitungan secara terstruktur serta mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Namun, pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta masih didominasi metode ceramah dan belum didukung oleh bahan ajar digital interaktif yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul berbasis FlipHTML5 pada mata pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Frais kelas XI serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tahap penyebaran dilakukan secara terbatas di SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket skala Likert yang diberikan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan 30 peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan mengonversi skor penilaian ke dalam bentuk persentase kelayakan. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa e-modul berbasis FlipHTML5 yang memuat materi parameter pemotongan pekerjaan frais, persiapan pekerjaan frais, perhitungan waktu pemesinan, gambar, video pembelajaran, serta asesmen pilihan ganda dan esai. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memperoleh persentase sebesar 84% dari ahli materi, 92,5% dari ahli media, dan 88,53% berdasarkan respons peserta didik. Seluruh hasil penilaian tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Revisi produk dilakukan terutama dengan memperbesar ukuran huruf untuk meningkatkan keterbacaan dan kenyamanan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis FlipHTML5 sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pendukung pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Frais kelas XI. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini terbatas pada pengembangan dan pengujian kelayakan produk sehingga belum dapat membuktikan pengaruh e-modul terhadap hasil belajar atau kompetensi praktik peserta didik ***** Instruction in Milling Machining Techniques requires teaching materials capable of presenting technical, procedural, and calculation-based content in a structured and easily understandable manner. However, instruction at SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta remains dominated by lecture-based methods and lacks support from integrated, interactive digital teaching materials. This study aimed to develop a FlipHTML5-based e-module for the Grade XI Milling Machining Techniques course and to determine its feasibility based on evaluations by subject matter experts, media experts, and students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D development model, comprising the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The dissemination stage was conducted on a limited scale at SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires administered to subject matter experts, media experts, and 30 Grade XI Machining students. Data analysis utilized descriptive statistics, converting evaluation scores into feasibility percentages. The resulting product is a FlipHTML5-based e-module containing content on milling cutting parameters, job preparation, machining time calculations, diagrams, instructional videos, and assessments featuring both multiple-choice and essay questions. Validation results indicated feasibility ratings of 84% from subject matter experts, 92.5% from media experts, and 88.53% based on student responses; all these ratings fall into the "highly feasible" category. Product revisions focused primarily on increasing font size to improve readability and user comfort. The findings demonstrate that the FlipHTML5-based e-module is highly suitable for use as supplementary teaching material for Grade XI Milling Machining Techniques. However, as this study was limited to product development and feasibility testing, it did not assess the e-module's impact on student learning outcomes or practical competencies.
