Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan model pembelajaran IPA dengan mengintegrasikan 5E-GC untuk peserta didik SMP, (2) menghasilkan kelayakan model pembelajaran IPA dengan mengintegrasikan 5E-GC untuk peserta didik SMP, dan (3) menghasilkan efektivitas model pembelajaran IPA dengan mengintegrasikan 5E-GC untuk peserta didik SMP. Jenis penelitian ini melalui metode Research and Development (R&D) yang memadukan tahapan Dick and Carey dan Borg and Gall. Produk divalidasi melalui validasi ahli (expert review), one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation, dan field trial. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil uji kelayakan melalui expert review diperoleh hasil dari ahli desain instruksional diperoleh rerata 98,06%, penilaian ahli materi diperoleh rerata 92,5%, dan ahli media diperoleh rerata 94,9%. Pada rerata evaluasi dari one to one sebesar 97, small group sebesar 96, dan filed trial sebesar 98. Uji efektivitas dengan analisis statistik (uji-t) menunjukkan nilai t = 13.330 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 25 dengan nilai signifikansi (p) < 0.05, dan nilai N-Gain yaitu 0,65 berada pada kategori sedang, serta selisih pretest dan posttest sebesar 38,08. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan setelah implementasi model pembelajaran IPA dengan mengintegrasikan 5E-GC. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan model pembelajaran IPA dengan mengintegrasikan 5E-GC sebagai solusi inovatif untuk pembelajaran IPA di SMP dalam mendukung keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, serta memberi kontribusi dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran digital. ***** This study aims to: (1) develop a science learning model that integrates the 5E-GC framework for junior high school students, (2) assess the feasibility of the science learning model that integrates the 5E-GC framework for junior high school students, and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of the science learning model that integrates the 5E-GC framework for junior high school students. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, combining the stages proposed by Dick and Carey and Borg and Gall. The product was validated through expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small-group evaluation, and field trials. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. Data analysis utilized the t-test. The results of the feasibility test via expert review showed an average score of 98.06% from instructional design experts, 92.5% from content experts, and 94.9% from media experts. The average evaluation scores were 97 for one-to-one evaluations, 96 for small-group evaluations, and 98 for field trials. The effectiveness test using statistical analysis (t-test) showed a t-value of 13.330 with degrees of freedom (df) = 25 and a significance level (p) < 0.05; the N-Gain value of 0.65 falls into the moderate category, and the difference between the pretest and posttest scores was 38.08. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there was a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes following the implementation of the science learning model that integrates the 5E-GC approach. The findings of this study recommend the implementation of the science learning model that integrates the 5E-GC approach as an innovative solution for science education in junior high schools to support the development of higher-order thinking skills and to contribute to the development of digital learning models.
