Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul bentuk aljabar dengan model guided discovery learning untuk peserta didik SMP dan mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisannya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik, di mana sebanyak 64,7% peserta didik SMPN 98 Jakarta menganggap materi tersebut sulit, serta kebutuhan akan bahan ajar digital yang interaktif dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate). E-modul memuat sintaks guided discovery learning meliputi stimulation, problem statement, data collecting, data processing, verification, dan generalization, serta dilengkapi materi, latihan soal, video, dan kuis interaktif. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan bahasa memperoleh 92,19% (sangat valid) dan ahli media 95,50% (sangat valid). Uji coba kepada guru memperoleh 87,50% dan 90,79%, sedangkan uji coba kepada peserta didik memperoleh 80,66% dan 88,21%, sehingga seluruhnya mendapatkan kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, e-modul dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pendukung pembelajaran matematika SMP dengan kriteria valid dan praktis.*** This study aims to develop an algebra e-module based on the guided discovery learning model for junior high school students and to determine its validity and practicality. The study was motivated by students’ low conceptual understanding, in which 64.7% of students at SMPN 98 Jakarta considered algebra material difficult, as well as the need for interactive and student-centered digital teaching materials. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The developed e-module integrated the syntax of guided discovery learning, including stimulation, problem statement, data collecting, data processing, verification, and generalization, and was complemented with learning materials, practice exercises, videos, and interactive quizzes. The validation results from material and language experts reached 92.19% (very valid), while media experts gave a score of 95.50% (very valid). The practicality test conducted with teachers obtained scores of 87.50% and 90.79%, whereas the student trials obtained scores of 80.66% and 88.21%, all categorized as very practical. Therefore, the developed e-module was declared feasible to be used as a supporting teaching material for junior high school mathematics learning, as it met the validity and practicality criteria.
