Abstract
***** Chemistry learning is often considered abstract and detached from the context of everyday life by students. This study aims to produce a valid and practical immersive laboratory simulator learning media. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model up to the small-scale implementation stage on 36 students and 3 teachers. The results of the feasibility test by the material expert lecturer showed an average percentage of 85.83%, while the media expert lecturer gave a score of 97.00%, where both fall into the very feasible criteria. This validity is strengthened by the statistical results of the Aiken V Index with an average of 0.825 for the material aspect and 0.956 for the media aspect, which are categorized as high. From the practicality aspect, student responses are in the very practical category supported by a very high level of instrument consistency through the Cronbach's Alpha test of 0.943. Teachers consider this media practical with an average total practicality score reaching 77.88% because its digital sensor automation is able to reduce the time to assemble physical equipment in the classroom. The lowest teacher performance on physical comfort, 66.67%, due to the effects of VR glasses, was successfully addressed through projector screen synchronization. In conclusion, this product meets the eligibility and practicality requirements for use as a learning medium in schools. Keywords VR, herbal medicine, learning media, digital sensors, ethnochemistry.
