Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik mengalami kesulitan memahami materi yang bersifat praktik, khususnya mengenai sistem Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Web Book Creator pada mata pelajaran Perawatan Sistem Transmisi Otomatis Sepeda Motor di SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Four-D). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas ahli materi, ahli media, dan 51 peserta didik kelas XI Konsentrasi Keahlian Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Sumber Daya Bekasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Web Book Creator yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 85% dan 87,5%, validasi ahli media sebesar 82%, validasi ahli bahasa sebesar 80%, serta hasil uji kelayakan oleh peserta didik sebesar 85,19%, yang seluruhnya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak kecuali pada validasi ahli bahasa yang masuk dalam kategori layak digunakan. Media yang dikembangkan mampu menyajikan materi secara interaktif, mudah diakses melalui berbagai perangkat, serta mendukung pembelajaran mandiri peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMK dan berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran pada bidang Teknik Sepeda Motor. ***** The study was motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in the learning process, causing students to experience difficulties in understanding practice-oriented materials, particularly those related to the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system. This study aimed to develop Web Book Creator-based learning media for the Motorcycle Automatic Transmission System Maintenance subject at a Vocational High School (SMK). The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D (Four-D) development model. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, and 51 eleventh-grade students of the Motorcycle Engineering specialization at SMK Sumber Daya Bekasi. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics with percentage techniques. The results showed that the developed Web Book Creator-based learning media obtained material expert validation scores of 85% and 87.5%, a media expert validation score of 82%, a language expert validation score of 80%, and a student feasibility assessment score of 85.19%. These results indicate that the learning media were categorized as highly feasible, except for the language expert validation, which was categorized as feasible. The developed learning media were able to present instructional materials interactively, were easily accessible across various devices, and supported students' independent learning. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the developed learning media are highly feasible for use as instructional media in vocational high schools and have the potential to improve the quality of the learning process in the field of Motorcycle Engineering.
