Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut penerapan asesmen diagnostik untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan belajar murid. Namun, asesmen kognitif di sekolah masih didominasi pembelajaran berorientasi hafalan sehingga menimbulkan miskonsepsi yang sulit terdeteksi oleh tes konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen tes diagnostik Four-tier pada materi sel berbasis Rasch Rating Scale Model (RSM) untuk mendeteksi miskonsepsi murid SMA. Penelitian menggunakan model 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) dengan tahap develop melibatkan 69 murid kelas XI SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta pada uji coba terbatas. Tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Instrumen divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan bahasa menggunakan Aiken’s V, serta dianalisis empiris dengan RSM. Hasil validitas isi memperoleh rata-rata Aiken’s V aspek materi 0,82 (tinggi) dan aspek bahasa 0,69 (sedang). Analisis RSM menunjukkan 19 dari 20 soal fit model; reliabilitas butir 0,94 (sangat baik) dan reliabilitas responden 0,77 (cukup). Instrumen berpotensi mengidentifikasi tujuh kategori tingkat konsepsi dengan persentase miskonsepsi keseluruhan sebesar 21,23%, dengan miskonsepsi tertinggi ditemukan pada indikator osmosis dan difusi sebesar 74%. Dengan demikian, instrumen menunjukkan kualitas psikometris yang memadai sebagai asesmen diagnostik dalam pembelajaran Biologi, meskipun pengujian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih besar dan beragam tetap diperlukan sebelum implementasi lebih luas. ***** The implementation of Merdeka Curriculum demands the application of diagnostic assessment to identify student learning needs. However, cognitive assessment in school remains dominated by rote-oriented learning, leading to misconceptions that are difficult to detect through conventional tests. This study aimed to develop a four-tier diagnostic test instrument on cell material based on the Rasch Rating Scale Model (RSM) to detect senior high school student misconceptions. The 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate) was employed, with the develop stage involving a limited trial of 69 eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta. The disseminate stage was not conducted. The instrument was validated by material and language experts using Aiken’s V and analyzed empirically using the RSM. Content validity yielded an average Aiken’s V 0.82 (high) for material aspects and 0.69 (moderate) for language aspects. RSM analysis indicated that 19 out of 20 item fit the model with item reliability of 0.94 (very good) and person reliability of 0.77 (sufficient). The instrument can potentially identify seven categories of conceptual understanding, with an overall misconception rate of 21.33%, and the highest misconception was found in the osmosis and diffusion indicator at 74%. Therefore, the instrument demonstrates adequate psychometric quality as diagnostic assessment tool in Biology learning, although further testing with larger and more diverse samples is required due to boarder implementation.
