Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pencapaian Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) pada elemen Teknik Pemesinan Bubut Fase E di SMK Negeri 36 Jakarta, dengan 75% siswa memperoleh nilai kuis di bawah KKTP dan hanya 3 dari 30 siswa yang mencapai KKTP pada Asesmen Sumatif Akhir Semester. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang masih didominasi oleh buku teks, presentasi PowerPoint, dan video pasif, sehingga kurang mampu memvisualisasikan proses pembubutan secara interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Scratch serta mengetahui kelayakannya dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang dibatasi pada tiga tahap awal, yaitu Define, Design, dan Develop. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu ahli materi, satu ahli media, dan 30 siswa Fase E jurusan Teknik Pemesinan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket berskala Likert, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berhasil dikembangkan melalui tahapan yang sistematis. Validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase 84% dengan kategori "Sangat Valid", validasi ahli media mencapai 80% dengan kategori "Valid", dan uji kelayakan oleh 30 siswa memperoleh 93,48% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak". Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Scratch layak digunakan sebagai sarana belajar mandiri siswa, baik sebagai pengantar materi sebelum praktik di bengkel maupun sebagai penguatan pemahaman konseptual pada elemen Teknik Pemesinan Bubut. ***** This research was motivated by the limited learning media used in the Lathe Machining element for Phase E students at SMK Negeri 36 Jakarta, which remained dominated by conventional media such as textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and passive videos that were unable to interactively visualize the lathe machining process. This condition contributed to low achievement of the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP), with 75% of students scoring below the KKTP on a quiz and only 3 out of 30 students reaching the KKTP on the End-of-Semester Summative Assessment. This research aimed to develop a Scratch-based interactive learning medium for the Lathe Machining element and to determine its feasibility for use in learning. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), which was limited to the first three stages due to time constraints. The research subjects consisted of one content expert, one media expert, and 30 Phase E students majoring in Machining Engineering. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and a Likert-scale questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that the Scratch-based learning medium was successfully developed through the define, design, and develop stages, and was trialed on a limited basis within the try-out class. The content expert validation obtained a feasibility percentage of 84%, categorized as “Very Valid”, while the media expert validation obtained 80%, categorized as “Valid”. The feasibility test conducted with 30 students yielded a percentage of 93.48%, categorized as “Very Feasible”. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Scratch-based interactive learning medium is feasible to be used as a means of independent learning for Phase E students on the Lathe Machining element, both as an introduction to the material and as preparation prior to conducting practical work in the workshop.
