Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada belum tersedianya video pembelajaran teknik Hollywood wave yang khusus untuk kebutuhan hairdo presenter televisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian melibatkan dua ahli materi, satu ahli media, serta mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kosmetika dan Perawatan Kecantikan UNJ sebagai responden uji praktikalitas. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa video pembelajaran berdurasi 7 menit 45 detik yang berisi pengertian dan jenis penataan rambut yang biasa digunakan presenter, pengenalan alat dan bahan, serta tahapan penataan rambut teknik Hollywood wave untuk hairdo presenter televisi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa ahli materi 1 memberikan persentase kelayakan sebesar 92,72% dan ahli materi 2 sebesar 89,09%, keduanya dalam kategori "Sangat Layak", sedangkan ahli media memberikan penilaian sebesar 77,5% dengan kategori "Layak". Pada uji praktikalitas, uji one to one terhadap 3 mahasiswa memperoleh persentase 90,56% dan uji small group terhadap 10 mahasiswa memperoleh persentase 87,83%, keduanya dalam kategori "Sangat Layak". Selain itu, hasil uji efektivitas terhadap 10 mahasiswa menunjukkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,93 yang termasuk kategori tinggi, yang menandakan video pembelajaran efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran penataan rambut teknik Hollywood wave untuk hairdo presenter televisi dinyatakan layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. **** This research is based on the unavailability of an instructional video on the Hollywood wave technique specifically designed for the needs of television presenter hairdo. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, covering the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The study involved two material experts, one media expert, and students from the Cosmetology Education and Beauty Care Cosmetics study programs at UNJ as practicality-test respondents. The resulting product is a 7-minute-45-second instructional video containing the definition and types of hairstyling commonly used by presenters, an introduction to the tools and materials, and the step-by-step procedure of the Hollywood wave technique for television presenter hairdo. Validation results show that material expert 1 gave a feasibility percentage of 92.72% and material expert 2 gave 89.9%, both categorized as "Highly Feasible," while the media expert rated the product at 77.5%, categorized as "Feasible." In the practicality test, the one-to-one trial involving 3 students achieved 90,56% and the small-group trial involving 10 students achieved 87.83%, both categorized as "Highly Feasible." Furthermore, the effectiveness test involving 10 students showed an N-Gain score of 0.93, categorized as high, indicating that the instructional video effectively improved students' learning outcomes. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed instructional video on the Hollywood wave hairstyling technique for television presenter hairdo is feasible, practical, and effective for use as a learning medium.
