Abstract

Ekosistem mangrove merupakan habitat penting bagi bivalvia yang keberadaan dan kelimpahannya dipengaruhi oleh struktur vegetasi mangrove serta kondisi lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis struktur komunitas bivalvia pada kerapatan mangrove yang berbeda serta mengkaji hubungan kerapatan mangrove dan parameter lingkungan terhadap kelimpahan bivalvia di Pulau Pari, Kepulauan Seribu. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling pada tiga stasiun pengamatan. Struktur komunitas dianalisis berdasarkan komposisi jenis, kelimpahan, indeks keanekaragaman, kemerataan, dominansi, dan kekayaan jenis, sedangkan hubungan antara kelimpahan bivalvia dengan kerapatan mangrove dan parameter lingkungan dianalisis menggunakan regresi Poisson. Hasil penelitian menemukan 1.318 individu bivalvia yang terdiri atas 8 jenis dari 6 suku, dengan Ostreidae (55,01%) dan Arcidae (40,14%) sebagai suku yang paling dominan. Struktur komunitas bivalvia di Pantai Bintang dan Pantai Perawan lebih stabil dibandingkan Pantai Gedung Putih yang didominasi Anadara granosa. Analisis poisson menunjukkan bahwa kerapatan Rhizophora mucronata, jumlah jenis mangrove <0,0001, kandungan karbon organik <0,0001, dan oksigen terlarut 0,0005 berpengaruh positif terhadap kelimpahan bivalvia, sedangkan dominansi satu jenis mangrove serta substrat berfraksi pasir dan pasir berlanau berpengaruh negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi kerapatan dan komposisi jenis mangrove bersama faktor lingkungan, terutama karbon organik, oksigen terlarut, dan karakteristik substrat, berhubungan dengan variasi kelimpahan bivalvia di Pulau Pari.*****Mangrove ecosystems are important habitats for bivalves, whose presence and abundance are influenced by mangrove vegetation structure and environmental conditions. This study aimed to analyze the community structure of bivalves at different mangrove densities and to examine the relationship between mangrove density and environmental parameters on bivalve abundance on Pari Island, the Thousand Islands.The study employed a descriptive survey method using purposive sampling at three observation stations. Community structure was analyzed based on species composition, abundance, diversity index, evenness, dominance, and species richness, while the relationship between bivalve abundance and mangrove density and environmental parameters was analyzed using with Poisson regression. The results revealed 1,318 bivalve individuals comprising 8 species from 6 sukues, with Ostreidae (55.01%) and Arcidae (40.14%) as the most dominant sukues. The bivalve community structure at Bintang Beach and Perawan Beach was more stable than that at Gedung Putih Beach, which was dominated by Anadara granosa. Poisson analysis showed that the density of Rhizophora mucronata, the number of mangrove species <0,0001, the organic carbon content of the sediment <0,0001, and dissolved oxygen 0,0005 had a positive effect on bivalve abundance, whereas the dominance of a single mangrove species and substrates consisting of sand and sandy silt had a negative effect. The results of the study indicate that variations in the density and species composition of mangroves, along with environmental factors—particularly organic carbon, dissolved oxygen, and substrate characteristics—are associated with variations in the abundance and community structure of bivalves on Pari Island.
