Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa Trainer Kit Air Conditioner (AC) Split yang dilengkapi dengan Modul Jobsheet Praktikum pada mata kuliah Praktikum Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kendala di laboratorium, di mana media pembelajaran yang ada sudah mengalami kerusakan dan proses pembelajaran praktikum masih didominasi oleh pendekatan teoretis akibat keterbatasan fasilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), yang dibatasi hingga tahap implementasi uji coba terbatas. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi dan angket mahasiswa, perancangan desain perangkat keras dan modul, pengembangan produk, validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta uji coba perorangan dan uji coba terbatas. Hasil validasi kelayakan teoretis oleh ahli materi menunjukkan kategori "Sangat Layak" dengan rerata skor 4,80, sementara validasi ahli media memperoleh rerata skor 4,85 dengan kategori "Sangat Layak". Penilaian kelayakan empiris melalui uji coba perorangan memperoleh rerata skor 4,45 (Sangat Layak), dan pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan rerata skor total 4,48 dengan kategori "Sangat Layak". Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, Trainer Kit Air Conditioner Split dan Modul Jobsheet Praktikum terbukti valid, fungsional, serta sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.***** This study aims to develop a learning resource in the form of a Split Air Conditioner (AC) Trainer Kit equipped with a Practical Lab Worksheet Module for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Laboratory course in the Electrical Engineering Education Program at Jakarta State University. The background of this study stems from challenges in the laboratory, where existing learning resources have become damaged and the practical lab learning process remains dominated by a theoretical approach due to limited facilities. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D), adapting the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model, which was limited to the limited pilot test implementation stage. The research stages included needs analysis through student observations and questionnaires, the design of hardware and modules, product development, validation by subject matter experts and media experts, as well as individual testing and limited pilot testing. The results of the theoretical feasibility validation by subject matter experts indicated a “Highly Feasible” rating with an average score of 4.80, while the validation by media experts yielded an average score of 4.85, also in the “Highly Feasible” category. The empirical feasibility assessment through individual trials yielded an average score of 4.45 (“Highly Feasible”), and the limited trials yielded a total average score of 4.48, also falling into the “Highly Feasible” category. Based on these results, the Split Air Conditioner Trainer Kit and the Lab Worksheet Module have been proven to be valid, functional, and highly suitable for use as learning tools.
