Abstract
Literasi ekologi merupakan kemampuan penting yang perlu dimiliki murid untuk memahami hubungan antarkomponen ekosistem serta mengambil keputusan terhadap permasalahan lingkungan berdasarkan bukti ilmiah. Namun, instrumen tes yang tersedia belum mampu mengukur literasi ekologi murid secara komprehensif sesuai dengan kompetensi yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen tes literasi ekologi bagi murid SMA yang memenuhi kriteria validitas isi, kelayakan konstruksi, kepraktisan penggunaan, serta memiliki reliabilitas internal yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Instrumen dikembangkan dengan mengadaptasi kompetensi ilmiah dalam kerangka PISA yang meliputi explaining phenomena scientifically, evaluating and designing scientific inquiry, serta interpreting data and evidence scientifically pada materi ekologi. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli konstruksi, dan ahli bahasa, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji keterbacaan oleh guru dan murid, uji empiris terhadap 30 murid, serta implementasi kepada 108 murid SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes literasi ekologi yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria validitas isi, kelayakan konstruksi, dan kepraktisan penggunaan, serta memiliki reliabilitas internal yang tinggi sehingga layak digunakan untuk mengukur literasi ekologi murid SMA. Instrumen ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif asesmen bagi guru dalam mengevaluasi literasi ekologi murid secara lebih komprehensif serta mendukung pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran biologi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir ilmiah murid. Penelitian ini masih terbatas pada cakupan uji empiris sehingga diperlukan pengujian yang melibatkan karakteristik murid dan sekolah yang lebih beragam untuk memperkuat generalisasi penggunaan instrumen. ***** Ecological literacy is an essential skill for students to understand the relationships between ecosystem components and make decisions about environmental issues based on scientific evidence. However, existing test instruments are not yet capable of comprehensively measuring students' ecological literacy, in line with the expected competencies. This study aims to develop an ecological literacy test instrument for high school students that meets the criteria of content validity, construction feasibility, practicality of use, and high internal reliability. This study used theResearch and Development(R&D) with the ADDIE model which covers the stagesanalysis, design, development, implementation, And evaluation. The instrument was developed by adapting scientific competencies within the PISA framework which includesexplaining phenomena scientifically, evaluating and designing scientific inquiry, as well as interpreting data and evidence scientificallyon ecological material. Validation was conducted by material experts, construction experts, and linguists, followed by a readability test by teachers and students, an empirical test on 30 students, and implementation on 108 high school students. The results of the study indicate that the developed ecological literacy test instrument meets the criteria of content validity, construction feasibility, and practicality of use, and has high internal reliability, making it suitable for use in measuring the ecological literacy of high school students. This instrument is expected to be an alternative assessment for teachers in evaluating students' ecological literacy more comprehensively and support the implementation of biology learning evaluations to improve students' scientific thinking skills. This study is still limited in scope to empirical tests, so testing is needed involving more diverse student and school characteristics to strengthen the generalizability of the instrument's use.
