Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan rancangan pembelajaran Sistem Pengapian Sepeda Motor dengan pendekatan Problem Based Learning yang terintegrasi bahan ajar hypermedia, menguji kelayakan produk, dan mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan produk tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ASSURE yang terdiri atas enam tahap, yaitu Analyze Learners, State Standards and Objectives, Select Strategies, Technology, Media, and Materials, Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials, Require Learner Participation, serta Evaluate and Revise. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Sepeda Motor di SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket analisis kebutuhan, wawancara guru, lembar validasi ahli, serta tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persentase kelayakan dan perhitungan N-Gain. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa desain pembelajaran berbasis masalah, buku ajar cetak yang terhubung dengan hypermedia melalui QR Code, video pembelajaran, gambar dan infografik, LKPD, latihan, kuis, skenario masalah, serta proyek akhir pembelajaran. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran memperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 90,63%, media sebesar 80,00%, dan materi sebesar 94,44%. Uji coba lapangan terhadap 30 peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 53,20 pada pretest menjadi 86,80 pada posttest. Rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,73 berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan persentase N-Gain sebesar 72,61% termasuk dalam tafsiran cukup efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Sistem Pengapian Sepeda Motor. ***** This study aimed to develop a learning design for the Motorcycle Ignition System using a Problem-Based Learning approach integrated with hypermedia teaching materials, to assess the feasibility of the product, and to examine the improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using the developed product. This study employed the Research and Development method using the ASSURE development model, which consists of six stages: Analyze Learners; State Standards and Objectives; Select Strategies, Technology, Media, and Materials; Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials; Require Learner Participation; and Evaluate and Revise. The study was conducted with Grade XI students of the Motorcycle Engineering Program at SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. Data were collected through a needs-analysis questionnaire, teacher interviews, expert validation sheets, and learning achievement tests consisting of a pretest and a posttest. The data were analyzed descriptively using feasibility percentages and N-Gain calculations. The resulting product consisted of a problem-based learning design, a printed textbook connected to web-based hypermedia through QR codes, instructional videos, images and infographics, student worksheets, exercises, quizzes, problem scenarios, and a final learning project. The validation results showed that the learning design obtained a feasibility score of 90.63%, the media obtained 80.00%, and the learning materials obtained 94.44%. The field trial involving 30 students showed an increase in the mean score from 53.20 on the pretest to 86.80 on the posttest. The mean N-Gain score was 0.73, which was classified as high, while the N-Gain percentage of 72.61% was interpreted as moderately effective. These findings indicate that the developed learning design is feasible for use and moderately effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Motorcycle Ignition System instruction.
