Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) perbedaan pemahaman matematika antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan media manipulatif dengan model ekspositori; (2) perbedaan pemahaman matematika antara siswa yang memiliki kecemasan matematika tinggi dan rendah; (3) pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kecemasan matematika terhadap pemahaman matematika; (4) perbedaan pemahaman matematika antara siswa kelompok model GI berbantuan media manipulatif dan model ekspositori pada siswa berkecemasan matematika tinggi; (5) perbedaan pemahaman matematika antara siswa kelompok model GI berbantuan media manipulatif dan model ekspositori pada siswa berkecemasan matematika rendah; (6) perbedaan pemahaman matematika siswa pada kelompok model GI berbantuan media manipulatif ditinjau dari kecemasan tinggi dan rendah; serta (7) perbedaan pemahaman matematika siswa pada kelompok model ekspositori ditinjau dari kecemasan tinggi dan rendah. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen (quasi-experimental design) dengan rancangan perlakuan Treatment by Level 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta di Kecamatan Bekasi Utara tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Sampel penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas V MI Attaqwa 26 dan MI Attaqwa 52. Pengelompokkan kecemasan matematika (tinggi dan rendah) dilakukan dengan mengambil kelompok 30% teratas dan 30% terbawah. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman matematika bentuk uraian dan angket kecemasan matematika yang telah diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varians Dua Jalur (ANOVA 2x2) yang dilanjutkan dengan Uji Tukey pada tingkat signifikansi ∝=0,05 ***** This study aims to examine and analyze: (1) differences in mathematical understanding between students taught using the Group Investigation (GI) cooperative model assisted by manipulative media and those taught using the expository model; (2) differences in mathematical understanding between students with high and low levels of mathematics anxiety; (3) the interaction effect between learning models and mathematics anxiety on students' mathematical understanding; (4) differences in mathematical understanding between GI and expository groups among students with high mathematics anxiety; (5) differences in mathematical understanding between GI and expository groups among students with low mathematics anxiety; (6) differences in mathematical understanding within the GI model group based on anxiety levels; and (7) differences in mathematical understanding within the expository model group based on anxiety levels. This quantitative research utilized a quasi-experimental design with a 2x2 Treatment by Level factorial design. The population comprised all 5th-grade students of Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in North Bekasi District during the 2025/2026 academic year. Samples were selected from MI Attaqwa 26 and MI Attaqwa 52. Mathematics anxiety was categorized into high and low groups based on the upper and lower 30% score distribution. Data were collected using validated essay tests for mathematical understanding and questionnaires for mathematics anxiety. Statistical analysis was conducted using Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA 2 x 2) followed by the Tukey Post-Hoc Test at a significance level of ∝=0,05
