Abstract

Kondisi permukaan jalan merupakan salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kenyamanan, keselamatan, dan kinerja lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi kualitas permukaan jalan berdasarkan metode Surface Distress Index (SDI) dan Pavement Condition Index (PCI), mengetahui laju kendaraan, serta menganalisis pengaruh kualitas permukaan jalan terhadap laju kendaraan pada ruas Jalan Raya Jatiwaringin Pondok Gede sepanjang 2,7 km. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui survei kondisi perkerasan menggunakan metode SDI dan PCI serta pengukuran kecepatan kendaraan menggunakan metode Spot to Spot pada setiap segmen jalan. Analisis pengaruh dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda setelah memenuhi uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata SDI sebesar 59,26 dengan kategori sedang dan nilai rata-rata PCI sebesar 74,41 (skala 0 – 100) dengan kategori very good. Kondisi terburuk ditemukan pada segmen S23 dengan nilai PCI sebesar 12 (failed) dan SDI sebesar 210 akibat dominasi kerusakan berupa lubang dan retak berat. Kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan sebesar 45,41 km/jam, dengan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa SDIn berpengaruh positif signifikan dan PCI berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap laju kendaraan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik kondisi permukaan jalan, semakin tinggi laju kendaraan yang dapat dicapai, sehingga penilaian SDIn dan PCI dapat menjadi dasar dalam menentukan prioritas pemeliharaan jalan. Pavement surface damage may cause drivers to reduce their speed to avoid road delects, potentially affecting vehicle speed. This study aims to analyze road surfare condition using the Surface Distress Index (SDI) and Pavement Condition Index (PCI), determine vehicle speed, and analyze the effect of road surface condition on vehicle speed along the 2.7 km Jalan Raya Jatiwaringin, Pondak Gede. The study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Road surface condition was assessed through visual surveys using the SDI and PCI methods, while vehicle speed was measured using the Spot-to-Spot method on each observation segment. The effect analysis was conducted using Enear regression after the classical assumption tests were fulfilled. The results showed that the average SDI was 59.26, categorized as moderate, while the average PCI was 74.41, categorized as Very Good. The worst condition was found in segment $23, with an SDI value of 210 and a PCI value of 12, categorized as Failed, mainly due to potholes and extensive cracking. The average vehicle speed along the study section was 45.41 km/h Regression analysis indicated that road surface quality represented by normalized SDI (SDIn) and PCI had a positive and significant effect on vehicle speed, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. Therefore, better road surface conditions were associated with higher vehicle speeds. These findings can be used as one of the considerations for determining road maintenance priorities.
