Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan komik digital flipbook berbasis Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR) sebagai media pendukung pemerolehan kosakata siswa hambatan pendengaran di kelas III SDLB-B Pangudi Luhur. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi yang dibatasi hingga uji coba terbatas (one-to-one). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan uji coba. Produk dikembangkan dalam bentuk komik digital interaktif pada platform Heyzine. Kebaruan produk terletak pada integrasi tulisan tegak bersambung sesuai karakteristik subjek. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor 98% dari ahli media, 99% dari ahli materi, dan 100% dari ahli hambatan pendengaran (rata-rata 99%). Hasil uji coba one-to-one membuktikan media membantu siswa memperoleh kosakata dan memahami cerita melalui tulisan dan visual komik. Kesimpulannya, komik digital flipbook berbasis MMR pada Heyzine dengan tulisan tegak bersambung ini dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang mendukung pemerolehan kosakata siswa hambatan pendengaran. ***** This study aimed to develop a digital flipbook comic based on the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) as a supporting medium for vocabulary acquisition among third-grade students with hearing impairment at SDLB-B Pangudi Luhur. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consisted of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The implementation stage was limited to a one-to-one trial involving three students with hearing impairment. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and product trials. The product was developed as an interactive digital comic on the Heyzine platform. The novelty of the product lay in the integration of cursive handwriting, which was tailored to the characteristics and learning needs of the students. The validation results showed scores of 98% from the media expert, 99% from the material expert, and 100% from the hearing impairment expert, with an average score of 99%. The results of the one-to-one trial demonstrated that the medium helped students acquire vocabulary and understand the story through written text and comic visuals. In conclusion, the MMR-based digital flipbook comic on the Heyzine platform, incorporating cursive handwriting, was considered highly feasible for use as a learning medium to support vocabulary acquisition among students with hearing impairment.
