Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul Konservasi Primata Endemik Jawa berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan literasi konservasi murid SMA kelas X. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan subjek penelitian kelas X.2 dan X.5 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian pada tahap implementasi menggunakan one group pretest–posttest design.Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul memperoleh persentase sebesar 87% dari ahli materi dengan kategori sangat layak, 79% dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat layak, 93,2% dari guru dengan kategori sangat layak, dan 92% pada uji coba kelompok kecil dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,01 < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak. Selain itu, hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,59 berada pada kategori sedang yang menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi konservasi murid. Dengan demikian, E-Modul Konservasi Primata Endemik Jawa berbasis PBL dinyatakan layak dan cukup efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi SMA. ***** This study aimed to develop a Javan Endemic Primate Conservation E-Module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) and to determine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving the conservation literacy of tenth grade senior high school students. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study was conducted in the 2025/2026 academic year with students from classes X.2 and X.5 selected through purposive sampling. The research design used during the implementation stage was a one group pretest–posttest design.The feasibility test results showed that the E Module obtained a score of 87% from material experts, categorized as highly feasible; 79% from media experts, categorized as feasible; 93.2% from teacher assessments, categorized as highly feasible; and 92% from small group trials, categorized as highly feasible. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.01 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected. In addition, the N Gain test result was 0.59, which falls into the moderate category, indicating that the E-Module was sufficiently effective in improving students’ conservation literacy. Therefore, the PBL-based Javan Endemic Primate Conservation E Module was declared feasible and sufficiently effective for use in senior high school Biology learning.
