Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keputusan karier peserta didik SMA dan SMK di Kota Bekasi, serta menguji perbedaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan komparasi sederhana. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI dari SMAN 4 dan SMKN 1 Kota Bekasi dengan sampel total 165 responden yang dipilih melalui metode sampling insidental. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Career Decision-Making Profile (CDMP), dan dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas variansi, dan uji analisis inferensial. Skor total keputusan karier peserta didik memiliki rata-rata 181,09 dengan standar deviasi 16,758. Data tidak seluruhnya normal dan tidak homogen, sehingga digunakan uji non-parametrik Mann-Whitney U. Hasil uji menunjukkan Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,677 (p > 0,05), dengan Mean Rank berdekatan antara kelompok SMK (81,52) dan SMA (84,61). H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada profil keputusan karier antara peserta didik SMA dan SMK di Kota Bekasi. Guru BK disarankan untuk memberikan layanan karier yang merata dan menyesuaikan bagi SMA maupun SMK. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini secara analisis dan cakupan sampel. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with simple comparison. The population of this study was eleventh-grade students from SMAN 4 and SMKN 1 Bekasi City, with a total sample of 165 respondents selected through the incidental sampling method. The instrument used in this study was the Career Decision-Making Profile (CDMP), which was analyzed through normality tests, variance homogeneity tests, and inferential analysis tests. The total career decision score of the students had a mean of 181.09 with a standard deviation of 16.758. The data were not entirely normally distributed and not homogeneous, so the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test was used. The test results showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.677 (p > 0.05), with a close Mean Rank between the SMK group (81.52) and the SMA group (84.61). H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. It is concluded that there is no significant difference in the career decision profile between SMA and SMK students in Bekasi City. School counselors are advised to provide equal and adaptive career services for both SMA and SMK students.
