Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemenuhan tujuh standar tekstualitas (Kohesi, Koherensi, Intensionalitas, Akseptabilitas, Informativitas, Situasionalitas, dan Intertekstualitas) berdasarkan teori Robert de Beaugrande dan Wolfgang Dressler pada sebuah artikel berita yang dipublikasikan di situs web Al Jazeera. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada pendeskripsian dan analisis semantik-tekstual atas data kebahasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa artikel terpilih telah memenuhi ketujuh standar tekstualitas dengan sangat baik. Temuan terpenting dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa wacana mengenai pergeseran strategis pada tujuan perang Amerika dan Israel terhadap Iran dibangun secara linguistik melalui interaksi ketujuh standar tersebut secara terpadu, bukan sekadar oleh satu standar saja. Secara spesifik, pada standar kohesi ditemukan 45 penanda yang terdiri atas 23 referensi, 16 konjungsi, 3 kohesi leksikal, 2 substitusi, dan 1 elipsis. Pada standar koherensi, ditemukan 17 relasi logis yang terdiri atas 7 relasi kausal dan 10 relasi aditif. Lebih lanjut, analisis menunjukkan bahwa penulis mengelola intensionalitas melalui struktur argumentatif bertahap (dari klaim awal menuju koreksi) serta kepatuhan pada maksim kuantitas dan kualitas Grice; akseptabilitas melalui kesesuaian dengan konvensi bahasa jurnalistik baku; informativitas melalui penyajian informasi baru mengenai pergeseran tujuan perang; situasionalitas melalui keterikatan eksplisit pada konteks bulan kedua perang; dan intertekstualitas melalui rujukan pada tiga sumber eksternal, yaitu pernyataan Menlu AS Marco Rubio, pernyataan PM Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, dan laporan lapangan koresponden Al Jazeera, Ahmad Jarrar. Kata Kunci: Standar Tekstualitas, Beaugrande dan Dressler, Analisis Wacana, Artikel Berita, Al Jazeera. ***** This research aims to analyze the fulfillment of the seven standards of textuality (Cohesion, Coherence, Intentionality, Acceptability, Informativity, Situationality, and Intertextuality) based on Robert de Beaugrande and Wolfgang Dressler's theory in a news article published on the Al Jazeera website. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method focusing on the description and semantic-textual analysis of linguistic data. The results indicate that the selected article has excellently fulfilled all seven standards of textuality. The most significant finding of this research is that the discourse regarding the strategic shift in America and Israel's war objectives against Iran is linguistically constructed through the integrated interaction of these seven standards, rather than by a single standard alone. Specifically, within the cohesion standard, 45 markers were found, consisting of 23 references, 16 conjunctions, 3 lexical cohesions, 2 substitutions, and 1 ellipsis. In the coherence standard, 17 logical relations were found, comprising 7 causal relations and 10 additive relations. Furthermore, the analysis demonstrates that the author manages intentionality through a gradual argumentative structure (from initial claims to correction) as well as adherence to Grice's maxims of quantity and quality; acceptability through compliance with standard journalistic language conventions; informativity through the presentation of new information concerning the shift in war objectives; situationality through explicit attachment to the context of the second month of the war; and intertextuality through references to three external sources, namely the statements of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the statements of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, and the field report by Al Jazeera correspondent Ahmad Jarrar.
