Abstract
Keanekaragaman hayati merupakan konsep dasar yang penting dan menjadi landasan bagi murid untuk mempelajari materi lanjutan Biologi. Instrumen yang berfokus memetakan pemahaman konsep murid serta membedakan antara murid yang benar memahami konsep dengan yang hanya menebak jawaban masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen Four-Tier Diagnostic Test Biodiversity (FTDT-BIODIV) yang valid, reliabel, layak dan praktis digunakan untuk memetakan pemahaman konsep murid SMA pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian pengembangan ini menerapkan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate), menghasilkan 35 butir soal format empat tingkat (jawaban, keyakinan jawaban, alasan dan keyakinan alasan). Uji validitas dilakukan pada aspek materi, konstruksi dan bahasa oleh tiga validator, sedangkan validitas empiris diujicobakan pada 36 murid SMA. Hasil analisis diperoleh 33 soal valid dan 2 soal tidak valid, dengan nilai reliabilitas yang tinggi. Tingkat kesukaran butir soal secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji daya beda menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar soal termasuk kategori baik, dengan beberapa soal berkategori sangat baik dan cukup, serta masih terdapat sebagian kecil soal yang berkategori jelek. Pengembangan ini menghasilkan 29 butir soal yang diterima sesuai dengan kriteria valid, reliabel, daya beda dan indeks kesukaran. Hasil uji coba pada murid kelas X SMA diperoleh bahwa instrumen FTDT-BIODIV dapat membagi tingkat pemahaman murid menjadi paham konsep, tidak paham dan miskonsepsi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen FTDT- BIODIV terbukti valid, reliabel, layak dan cukup praktis digunakan untuk memetakan pemahaman konsep murid SMA pada materi keanekaragaman hayati.***** Biodiversity is an important basic concept and is the foundation for students to learn advanced Biology material. Instruments that focus on mapping students' understanding of concepts and distinguishing between students who correctly understand concepts and those who only guess answers are still very limited. This research aims to develop a valid, reliable, feasible and practical Four-Tier Diagnostic Test Biodiversity (FTDT-BIODIV) instrument to map the understanding of high school students' concepts on biodiversity materials. This development research applied a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate), resulting in 35 questions in a Four-level format (answer, answer belief, reason, and reason belief). The validity test was carried out on the aspects of material, construction, and language by three validators, while the empirical validity was tested on 36 high school students. The results of the analysis obtained 33 valid questions and 2 invalid questions, with high reliability values. The difficulty level of the question items is generally in the medium category. The results of the differentiation test showed that most of the questions were in the good category, with some of the questions categorized as very good and sufficient, and there were still a small number of questions that were in the bad category. This development resulted in 29 questions that were accepted according to the criteria of validity, reliability, differentiation and difficulty index. The results of the trial for grade X high school students were obtained that the FTDT-BIODIV instrument can divide the level of students' understanding into concepts understanding categories. This shows that the FTDT-BIODIV instrument has proven to be valid, reliable, feasible and quite practical to map the understanding of high school students' concepts on biodiversity materials.
