Abstract

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berupa Simulasi Terintegrasi Ai Berbasis Problem-Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Gaya Listrik. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Juli 2026. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran simulasi partikel bermuatan berbasis Problem-Based Learning terintegrasi AI dinyatakan sangat valid, memperoleh tanggapan sangat baik dari guru dan siswa, serta efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep gaya listrik./ Development of AI-Integrated Simulation-Based Learning Media Using Problem-Based Learning to Improve Students’ Conceptual Understanding of Electric Force. Undergraduate Thesis, Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. July 2026. Electricity force learning still faces challenges because its concepts are abstract and require students to visualize the interactions between charges, including the direction and magnitude of electric forces. The limited availability of learning media that can provide interactive visualization and guidance during problem-solving encourages the development of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based learning media in the form of a charged-particle simulation assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI). This study aims to develop a PBL-based learning media using a charged-particle simulation integrated with AI on the topic of electric force, as well as to determine its validity, user responses, and effectiveness in improving students’ conceptual understanding. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed product is a charged-particle simulation that integrates the PBL syntax with an AI chatbot as learning scaffolding to provide guiding questions, hints, and feedback throughout the learning process. Product validation was conducted by three validators covering the aspects of content, media, and learning. The validation results showed percentages of 95.3% for the content aspect, 92% for the media aspect, and 92.6% for the learning aspect, with an overall average of 93.26%, categorized as “Very Valid.” Teacher responses to the learning media showed percentages of 92% for the appearance aspect, 92% for the content aspect, and 96% for the usefulness aspect, with an overall average of 93.33%, categorized as “Very Good.” Responses from 34 students showed an average percentage of 87.92%, categorized as “Very Good.” The effectiveness of the learning media was demonstrated by an increase in the students’ average pretest score from 24.15 to 29.38 on the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.89, categorized as high. Therefore, the charged-particle simulation learning media based on Problem-Based Learning and integrated with AI is considered very valid, receives very good responses from teachers and students, and is effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of electric force.
