Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam menanamkan karakter toleransi siswa kelas IV SDN Kukupu 1 Bogor melalui kegiatan kokurikuler. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Kukupu 1 Bogor dengan metode penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus deskriptif. Informan penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta uji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan guru dalam menerapkan PjBL disusun secara komprehensif melalui penetapan tujuan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada karakter toleransi, pemilihan tema proyek berdasarkan keberagaman Indonesia, serta pembentukan kelompok belajar yang heterogen. Pelaksanaan PjBL dilakukan melalui beragam proyek kokurikuler, yaitu proyek seni kolaboratif, proyek budaya, proyek literasi, dan proyek sosial. Penerapan PjBL menghasilkan perubahan sikap atau perilaku siswa yang mencerminkan nilai toleransi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi PjBL melalui kegiatan kokurikuler bertemakan keberagaman Indonesia efektif dala menanamkan karakter toleransi siswa sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, karakter toleransi, kegiatan kokurikuler / This study aims to analyze the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in fostering a sense of tolerance among fourth-grade students at SDN Kukupu 1 Bogor through co-curricular activities. The study was conducted at SDN Kukupu 1 Bogor using a qualitative research method and a descriptive case study approach. The informants for this study were the principal, teachers, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with validity tested through triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study indicate that teachers’ planning in implementing PjBL was comprehensive, involving the establishment of learning objectives oriented toward the character trait of tolerance, the selection of project themes based on Indonesia’s diversity, and the formation of heterogeneous learning groups. PjBL was implemented through various co-curricular projects, namely collaborative art projects, cultural projects, literacy projects, and social projects. The implementation of PjBL resulted in changes in students’ attitudes or behaviors that reflect the value of tolerance. This study concludes that the implementation of PjBL through co-curricular activities themed around Indonesia’s diversity is effective in instilling a character of tolerance in elementary school students.
