Abstract

This research to examine the effect of accounting income and cash flow operation to stock return with cash dividend as intervening variables of manufacturer companies in indonesian stock exchange in 2008 periode. This research using total asset as control variables. Manufacturer companies listed during 2008 is 149 companies and 34 of them are selected as sample research using purposive sampling method. Analysis method using multiple linear regressions and path analysis. The analysis results with multiple linear regression shows that accounting income, cash flow operation and cash dividend are not significant influence to stock return. Eventhough accounting income dan cash flow operation is significant influence to cash dividend. The result of path analysis show accounting income and cash flow operation are significant influence to cash dividend but cash dividend is not significant influence to stock return. The conclussion is accounting income and cash flow operation is not significant influence with cash dividend as intervening variables.
