Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara semangat kerja dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT V- Kool Indo Lestari. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua bulan terhitung sejak bulan April 2008 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2008. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah Seluruh karyawan PT. V-Kool Indo Lestari yang bekerja lebih dari 1 tahun. Berdasarkan survey awal, populasi terjangkaunya adalah Divisi Marketing yang bekerja lebih dari 1 tahun yang berjumlah 70 orang. Dari jumlah populasi terjangkau tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 58 orang. Pengambilan sampel tersebut didasarkan pada tabel penentuan jumlah sample dari populasi tertentu dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak proporsi ( Proporsional Random Sampling). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ= 53,65 + 0,285X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X menunjukan bahwa galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan yang menunjukan bahwa L hitung (0,0596) < L tabel (0,1163) dengan menggunakan uji liliefors pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil uji keberartian regresi diperoleh F hitung (24,01) > F tabel (4,02) yang menyatakan regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linearitas regresi diperoleh Fhitung (0,79) < Ftabel (1,89) yang menunjukan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,548 sedangkan hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh t hitung sebesar 4,900 dan t tabel sebesar 1,671. Dikarenakan t hitung > t tabel, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara semangat kerja dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT. V-Kool Indo Lestari. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukan 30,01 % variasi variabel Y ditentukan oleh variabel X. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara semangat kerja dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT. V-Kool Indo Lestari. Hal tersebut berarti semakin tinggi semangat kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja karyawan pada PT. V-Kool Indo Lestari. ***** The aim of this research is to find posibility a positive correlation between spirit of work with performance employee at PT. V- Kool Indo Lestari. The period of the research was two months, Aplir 2008 until May 2008. This research used survey methods by correlation approach. First survey, population is marketing division has work more than 1 years has reached population 70 people. From reached population can be sample is 58 people. The sampling from sample reached population sample from special population with 5 % mistake. The sampling tenhnique was the proportional random sampling. Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Ŷ = 53,65 + 0,285X. The analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable X is normal distributed. It is proved by the calculation that used Liliefors test at significant level (α) = 0,05 that indicates L counted (0.596) < L table (0,1163). At the hypotesis test the significant and linear regression test are using variance analysis table (ANAVA). The result of the significant regression test indicates F counted (24,01) > F table (4,02). It state the formula of regression is significant. The result of the linear regression test indicates F counted (0,79) < F table (1,89). It state the regression model is linear. The coefficient of correlation counted by product moment formula by pearson indicates rxy = 0,548. While the result of correlation coefficient significant test indicates t counted = 4,900 and t table = 1,671. Because the result shows t counted > t table, the research indicates there is a significant correlation between spirit of workwith performance employee at PT. V-Kool Indo Lestari. The counted of determination coefficient test indicates the variance of variable Y is determined by variable X. The conclusion of research shown that a positive correlation between spirit of work with performance employee at PT. V- Kool Indo Lestari. It means if spirit of work is increase, performance employee will increase.
