Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data atau fakta yang tepat (sahih,benar,valid) dan dapat dipercaya (reliable) tentang pengaruh tata ruang kantor dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai suku dinas kebersihan kota administrasi jakarta utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan terhitung sejak bulan april sampai juni 2008. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Suku Dinas Kebersihan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Utara dengan jumlah seluruhnya 215 responden, teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling dengan taraf kesalahan 5% yaitu 37 responden dari 40 pegawai. Dalam uji normalitas dengan rumus Liliefors, nilai kepuasan kerja Sebelum tata ruang berdistribusi normal dimana Lhitung 0,085 sebesar < Ltabel 0,146 Begitu pula nilai respon kepuasan kerja pegawai sesudah tata ruang berdistribusi normal dimana Lhitung sebesar 0,119 < Ltabel 0,146 Langkah selanjutnya ialah uji homogenitas dengan rumus F diperoleh bahwa kedua sampel tersebut bersifat homogen dengan α = 0,05 dimana Fhitung sebesar 1,45 sedangkan Ftabel sebesar 1,78 Sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh hasil thitung sebesar -3,0817 sedangkan ttabel -2,04 . thitung < ttabel ini berarti dan hipotesa dapat diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh tata ruang kantor dengan kepuasan kerja pegawai suku dinas kebersihan jakarta utara. ***** The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know the influence of office layout with employee satisfaction the cleanness department of the administrative city of north Jakarta. This research have been done for 3 month since april until june 2008. Research method is using research. The population research was all of employee the cleanness department of the administrative city of north Jakarta, with total 215 employees, while the reach of with total 40 employees with 37 employees for sampling with level error 5%. In normalitas test with Liliefors formula, value work satisfaction before office layout change normal distribution where Lcount equal to 0,085< Ltabel 0,146 There for assess result employee work satisfaction after office layout response have normal distribution [to] where L count equal to 0,119 < Ltabel 0,146. The next step is homogeneity test with F formula obtained both of the sampel have the character of homogeneous with α = 0,05 where F count equal to 1,45 while Ftabel < equal to 1,78 Work this examination of hypothesis with Test t by result of t count = -3,0817 equal to ttabel -2,04 meaning t count < ttabel and hypothesis can be accepted. Whoever this research have to result of above mentioned research can be concluded that there is have Influence of Office layout with employee work satisfaction the cleanness department of the administrative city of north Jakarta.
