Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif antara konsep diri dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa Konsentrasi Pendidikan Tata Niaga angkatan 2007 Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan terhitung sejak bulan April 2008 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2008. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah Mahasiswa Konsentrasi Pendidikan Tata Niaga Angkatan 2007. Berdasarkan populasinya berjumlah 87 mahasiswa. Dari jumlah populasi tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 72 orang. Pengambilan sampel tersebut didasarkan pada tabel penentuan jumlah sample dari populasi tertentu dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ= 50,78 + 0,552X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X menunjukkan bahwa galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan yang menunjukan bahwa L hitung (0.0804) < L tabel (0,1044) dengan menggunakan uji liliefors pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil uji keberartian regresi diperoleh F hitung (45,96) > F tabel (3,98) yang menyatakan regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linearitas regresi diperoleh Fhitung (0,55) < Ftabel (1,76) yang menunjukan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,630 sedangkan hasil dari uji signifikansi koefisien korelasi diperoleh t hitung sebesar 6,787 dan t tabel sebesar 1,671. Dikarenakan t hitung > t tabel, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa Konsentrasi Pendidikan Tata Niaga Angkatan 2007 Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukan 39,69 % variasi variabel Y ditentukan oleh variabel X. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara konsep diri dengan dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa Konsentrasi Pendidikan Tata Niaga Angkatan 2007 Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hal tersebut berarti semakin baik konsep diri maka semakin baik pula motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa Konsentrasi Pendidikan Tata Niaga Angkatan 2007 Universitas Negeri Jakarta. ***** The aim of this research is to find possibility a positive correlation between self concept with achievement motivation at Student of The Concentration Education of Commerce Class 2007 State University of Jakarta. The period of the research was three months, since April 2008 until June 2008. This research used survey methods by correlation approach. The population of this research were the student of The Concentration Education of Commerce State University of Jakarta. The reached population were 87 students. The sampling were 72 students. The sampling technique was the simple random sampling. Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Ŷ = 50,78 + 0,552X. The analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable X is normal distributed. It is proved by the calculation that used Liliefors test at significant level (α) = 0,05 that indicates L counted (0.0804) < L tabel (0,1044) At the hypotesis test the significant and linear regression test are using variance analysis table (ANAVA). The result of the significant regression test indicates F counted (45,96) > F table (3,98). It state the formula of regression is significant. The result of the linear regression test indicates F counted (0,55) < F table (1,76). It state the regression model is linear. The coefficient of correlation counted by product moment formula by pearson indicates rxy = 0,630. While the result of correlation coefficient significant test indicates t counted = 6,787 and t table = 1,671. Because the result shows t counted > t table, the research indicates there is a significant correlation between self concept with achievement motivation at Student of The Concentration Education of Commerce Class 2007 Economic Faculty State University of Jakarta. The counted of determination coefficient test indicates the variance of variable Y is determined by variable X. The conclusion of research shown that a positive correlation between self concept with achievement motivation at Student of The Concentration Education of Commerce Class 2007 State University of Jakarta. It means if self concept good is increase, achievment at Student of The Concentration Education of Commerce Class 2007 State University of Jakarta will increase.
