Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profitabilitas dan rasio pembayaran dividen, serta menguji hubungan antara profitabilitas dengan rasio pembayaran dividen pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan tahun pelaporan 2007-2008. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pusat Data Pasar Modal (PDPM) IBII, Jl. Yos Sudarso Kav 87 Sunter, Jakarta Utara. Profitabilitas diukur dengan return on equity (ROE). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan analisis dokumen melalui penelitian survey. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan metode kepustakaan. 133 perusahaan manufaktur yang Go Public di BEI digunakan sebagai populasi, 41 perusahaan yang digunakan sebagai populasi terjangkau, dan hanya 36 perusahaan yang digunakan sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan tabel Isacc. Uji persyaratan analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal (Lhitung; 0,0596< Ltabel; 0,1477). Sementara hasil uji linieritas menunjukkan bahwa persamaan regresi adalah linier (Fhitung; 0,67 < Ftabel; 19,46). Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji keberartian regresi menunjukkan persamaan regresi adalah tidak berarti ((Fhitung; 0,15< Ftabel; 4,13). Sedangkan temuan hasil uji koefisien korelasi Product Moment Pearson diperoleh rxy sebesar -0,07, ini artinya profitabilitas dan rasio pembayaran dividen memiliki korelasi yang rendah. Sementara, berdasarkan hasil uji keberartian korelasi menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dan raso pembayaran dividen memiliki hubungan yang negatif dan tidak signifikan (thitung ; -0,38< ttabel ; 1,70). Terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan tidak signifikan antara profitabilitas dengan rasio pembayaran dividen pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI untuk tahun 2008. ***** This research conducted to describe the profitability and dividend payout ratio, and examine the relationship betwen profitability and dividend payout ratio at manufacture industry that listed in Indonesia’s Stocks Exchange with the year of reporting is 2007-2008. This research is made in Data Center Of Capital Market (PDPM)IBII, Yos Sudarso Street Kav 87 Sunter, North Jakarta. Profitability is measured by Return on Equity (ROE). This research is using descriptive method with document analisis using survey research. Collecting data with documentation method and library method. 133 manufactur industry that listed in Indonesia’s Stocks Exchanges are using as population, 41 manufacture industry is taked as reached population, and 36 company is taking as the sample of research by using the Isacc’s Table. The analisis condition’s test using the normality and linierity test. The result of mormality test showed that data’s is normaly distributed (Lcount 0,0596 <Ltable 0,1477). While the linierity test shown that the regretion trend’s line is linier (Fcount 0,67 < F table 19,46). Hypothesis test by using the meaningfull regretion shows that the trend line is not meaning full(Fcount 0,15 < F table 4,13). The result of coefficient of correlation test by using Pruduct Moment Pearson’s shows that rxy is (-0,07) it means that the profitability and the dividend payout ratiois having a weak correlation. According to the meaningfull test of correlation shows that profitability and the dividend payout ratio had a negative and unsignificant (tcount -0,38< ttabel 1,70). There are negative and unsignificant relationship between profitability and dividend payout ratio at manufacturs industry that listed in Indonesias Stocks Exchange in 2008.
