Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang hubungan antara status social ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 bulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 21 Jakarta, sampelnya adalah siswa kelas XI IPS. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah metode sensus. Untuk menjaring data variable X, digunakan instrumen kuesioner Sebelum instrumen digunakan, dilakukan uji validitas konstruk yang dilanjutkan dengan proses kalibrasi yaitu perhitungan koefisien korelasi skor butir dan skor total serta uji reliabilitas dengan rumus alpha cronbach. Hasil reliabilitas X sebesar 0,911. Perhitungan Persamaan model regresi linier sederhana menghasilkan bentuk persamaan regresi Ŷ= 36,54+ 0,619X. Selanjutnya uji persyaratan analisis yaitu menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji liliefors, diperoleh kesimpulan galat taksiran berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perhitungan yang menunjukkan bahwa Lo (0,188) < Ltabel=0.997. Pengujian hipotesis dengan koefisien keberartian regresi memperoleh Fhitung 39,68 > Ftabel 3,96 yang menyatakan bahwa regresi berarti, serta uji linieritas regresi yang menghasilkan Fhitung 0,79 < Ftabel =1,90 sehingga menunjukkan model regresi yang digunakan linier. Uji koefisien korelasi dengan rumus product moment menghasilkan rxy=0,583. Kemudian uji signifikan koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan uji t memperoleh t hitung 6,30 dan t tabel 1,697 karena t hitung > dari t tabel dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara status social ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 21 Jakarta. Ini menunjukkan bahwa 33,99% variasi prestasi belajar disumbangkan oleh variabel status social ekonomi orangtua siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat hubungan positif, erat dan signifikan antara status social ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada SMA Negeri 21 Jakarta ***** The aim of this research is obtaining correlation status social economic of parent’s with achievement academic students. This research was conducted for two month, starting from May to Juni 2010. Research method used by method survey with approach correlational. The population of this study are all students of second level at SMA Negeri 21. Then samples was to taken as many as 79 responden,was using sensus method. To encompass both the data variables of the study, the instruments used for the the variable X (parent’s status social economic). Prior to use, test validity of the construt (constructs validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient with total score item scores and the test reliability with cronbach alpha formula. Instrument reliability results of variable X(status social economic of parent’s) equal 0,911. Technique analyse data started with searching simple equation regresi Ŷ= 34,56+0,619X, while conditions test analyse that is test normalitas value regresi X error for Y with test liliefors obtained by (Lhitung = 0,188) < (Ltabel = 0,997), matter of this means sample come from population have normal distribution Hypothesis testing with rwgression significance tes produces Fhitung (39,68)> Ftabel which means the regression equation significantly. Lineatity tes Fhitung of regression produces 0,79 < Ftabel (1,90) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Test of product moment correlation coefficient rxy=0,583 produces thitung furthermore, correlations coefficient significance test was using t-test, resulting thitung 6,30 > ttabel 1,697. The result concluded that there is a positive correlation between satatus social economic of parent’s with achievement academic students. With a decisive test of the coefficient if determination or 33,99% variable result obtained by the achievement academic student(Y) is determined by status social economic of parent’s (Variabel X) Resume this research is significant and have correlation positive between Between Status Social Economic Of Parent’s With Achievement Academic Student’s At SMA Negeri 21 East Jakarta.
