Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pola asuh orang tua dengan disiplin belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan terhitung sejak bulan Maret sampai dengan bulan Mei 2008. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta Timur. Populasi terjangkaunya adalah siswa kelas XII yang berjumlah 220 siswa. Dari jumlah populasi terjangkau tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 135 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak proporsional sederhana (Proportional Random Sampling). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ= 27,25 + 0,699X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X menunjukan bahwa galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan yang menunjukan bahwa L hitung (0,0686) < L tabel (0,0762) dengan menggunakan uji liliefors pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil uji keberartian regresi diperoleh F hitung (97,14) > F tabel (3,92) yang menyatakan regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linearitas regresi diperoleh Fhitung (0,72) < Ftabel (1,51) yang menunjukan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,650 sedangkan hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh t hitung sebesar 9,86 dan t tabel sebesar 1,64. Dikarenakan t hitung > t tabel, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan disiplin belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta Timur. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukan 0,4225 variasi variabel Y ditentukan oleh variabel X. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pola asuh orang tua dengan disiplin belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Jakarta Timur. Hal tersebut berarti semakin tepat dan baik pola asuh orang tua maka semakin tinggi pula disiplin belajar yang terbentuk dalam diri siswa. ***** The aim of this research is to find posibility a positive correlation between parenting style in relation to discipline learning at student of 11 High School East Jakarta The period of the research was three months, since February 2008 until May 2008. This research used survey methods by correlation approach. The population of this research were the student of 11 High School in East Jakarta. The reached population were 220 students. The sampling technique was the proportional random sampling. Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Ŷ = 27,25 + 0,699X. The analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable X is normal distributed. It is proved by the calculation that used Liliefors test at significant level (α) = 0,05 that indicates L counted (0.0686) < L table (0,0762). At the hypotesis test the significant and linear regression test are using variance analysis table (ANAVA). The result of the significant regression test indicates F counted (97,14) > F table (1,51). It state the formula of regression is significant. The result of the linear regression test indicates F counted (0,72) < F table (1,51). It state the regression model is linear. The coefficient of correlation counted by product moment formula by pearson indicates rxy = 0,650. While the result of correlation coefficient significant test indicates t counted = 9,86 and t table = 1,64. Because the result shows t counted > t table, the research indicates there is a significant correlation between parenting style in relation to discipline learning at student of 11 High School east Jakarta. The counted of determination coefficient test indicates 0,4225 the variance of variable Y is determined by variable X. The conclusion of research shown that a positive correlation between parenting style in relation to discipline learning at student of 11 High School east Jakarta. It means if parenting style is right, discipline learning at Student of 11 High School in East Jakarta will increase.
