Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengelolaan kelas dengan minat belajar pada siswa di SMAN 21 Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan terhitung sejak bulan April 2010 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMAN 21 Jakarta Timur dan populasi terjangkau adalah siswa kelas X dengan jumlah 235 siswa. Dari jumlah populasi terjangkau tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 139 siswa. Pengambilan sampel tersebut didasarkan pada tabel penentuan jumlah sample dari populasi tertentu dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling Technique). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ= 64,36 + 0,364X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X menunjukan bahwa galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan yang menunjukan bahwa L hitung (0,073) < L tabel (0,07489) dengan menggunakan uji Liliefors pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian koefisien dan kelinieran regresi menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil uji keberartian koefisien regresi diperoleh F hitung (36,05) > F tabel (3,94) yang menyatakan koefisien regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linearitas regresi diperoleh F hitung (1,49) < F tabel (1,51) yang menunjukan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,457 sedangkan hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh t hitung sebesar 6,10 dan t tabel sebesar 1,645. Dikarenakan thitung > ttabel, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengelolaan kelas dengan minat belajar pada siswa di SMAN 21 Jakarta Timur. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukan 0,2084, ini berarti bahwa 20,84% variasi variabel Y ditentukan oleh variabel X. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengelolaan kelas dengan minat belajar pada siswa di SMAN 21 Jakarta Timur. Hal tersebut berarti semakin baik pengelolaan kelas, maka semakin tinggi minat belajar pada siswa di SMAN 21 Jakarta Timur. ***** The aim of this research is to find posibility a positive correlation between management of class with student learning motivation of economics in SMAN 21, East Jakarta The period of this research was three months, since April 2010 until May 2010. This research used survey methods by correlation approach. Population from research is all student in SMAN 21, East Jakarta and population is reached is students in 1st grade or on an equalwith amount of 235 students. From amount of populations are reached the made by sample counted 139 students. The sampling based on tables of determination of amount of samples from certain populations with mistakes levels of 5%. Technique in sampling in this research is technique in simple random (Simple Random Sampling Technique). Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Ŷ = 64,36 + 0,364X The analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable X is normal distributed. It is proved by the calculation that used Liliefors test at significant level (α) = 0,05 that indicates L counted (0.073) < L table (0,07489). At the hypotesis test the significant and linear regression test are using variance analysis table (ANAVA). The result of the significant regression test indicates F counted (36,05) > F table (3,94). It state the formula of regression is significant. The result of the linear regression test indicates F counted (1,49) < F table (1,51) It state the regression model is linear. The coefficient of correlation counted by product moment formula by pearson indicates rxy = 0,457. While the result of correlation coefficient significant test indicates t counted = 6,10 and t table = 1,645. Because the result shows t counted > t table, the research indicates there is a significant correlation between management of class with student learning motivation of economics in SMAN 21, East Jakarta. The counted of determination coefficient test indicates obtained equal to 0,2084, it mean 20,84% the variance of variable Y is determined by variable X. The conclusion of research shown that a positive correlation between management of class with student learning motivation of economics in SMAN 21, East Jakarta.
