Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prosedur penerapan sanitasi hyegine terhadap tekstil di rumah sakit Sint. Carolus. Bagaimana perencanaan pengadaan linen dilakukan, pengorganisasian dalam proses mewujudkan perencanaan linen , proses pencucian, pengeringan, pengepresan, dan pendistribusian kembali linen yang telah bersih dan bebas bakteri (Hygiene dan Sanitasi). Kemudian untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur mencegah terjadinya infeksi nonsokomial yang berkaitan dengan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja di Rumah Sakit (K3RS) dalam proses pengadaan linen di rumah sakit Sint. Carolus. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan data dengan cara wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dan studi dokumentasi / analisis isi (Content Analyisis), dengan menggunakan pendekatan secara kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah penerapan sanitasi hyegine terhadap tekstil di rumah sakit Sint. Carolus, dengan informan Hidayati Artarini, selaku kepala unit pemeliharaan tekstil, Petrus sebagai kepala unit kesehatan lingkungan dan amdal, Sudarto selaku penanggung jawab bidang pencucian linen dan Mintarsih sebagai kepala unit Pengendalian Mutu (Pandalin). Yang semuanya berkarya di rumah sakit Sint Carolus. Hasil analisa data adalah gambaran mengenai penerapan saitasi hyegine terhadap tekstil di rumah sakit Sint. Carolus, yang mempunai tahapan / proses yang panjang yaitu perencanaan pengadaan linen dilakukan, pengorganisasian dalam proses mewujudkan perencanaan linen , proses pencucian, pengeringan, pengepresan, dan pendistribusian kembali linen yang telah bersih dan bebas bakteri (Hygiene dan Sanitasi). Kemudian untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur mencegah terjadinya infeksi nonsokomial yang berkaitan dengan Kesehatan dan iii Keselamatan Kerja di Rumah Sakit (K3RS) dalam proses pengadaan linen di rumah sakit Sint. Carolus. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan berguna menjadi suatu pegangan baru berupa pengetahuan tambahan bagi mahasiswa lulusan Tata Busana mengenai bidang laundry dan pemeliharaan tekstil khususnya di rumah sakit. Serta berguna bagi masyarakat agar mengetahui proses pengadaan linen yang benar. Dengan demikian selain mendap[atkan tambahan pengetahuan mahasiswa dan masyarakat secara umum dapat menerapkan pengetahuan ini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari atau bila ingin mendirikan sutu usaha di bidang laundry, serta mendaptkan hasil yang maksimal terhadap linen yang kotor dan juga memperhatikan tingkat keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. ***** The objective of this research is to know the procedure of the hyegine sanitation application upon textiles in Sint. Carolus. Hospital. How is the planning of linen procurement conducted, organization in the process of to come out to the planning of linen, washing process, drying process, pressure, and redistribution of cleaned linen and free of bacteriums (Hygiene dan Sanitasi). Then, in order to know how is the procedure in preventing the occurence of nonsocomial infection related to the Health and the Work Safety in the Hospital (K3RS) in the process of the linen procurement in Sint. Carolus hospital. This research has the descriptive nature and used the technical of gathering data through interviews (indepth interview) and documentation study (Content Analyisis), by using qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the application of hyegine sanitation upon the textiles in Sint. Carolus hospital, with the source of information are Mrs. Hidayati Artarini, as the chief of textile maintenance unit, Mr. Petrus Ernawan as the chief of environment health and wastes units, Mr. Sudarto as the person in charge of linen cleaning lines and Mrs. Mintarsih as the chief of Quality Control (Pandalin). All of them work in Sint Carolus hospital. The result of data analyses is the picture of the appilaction of hyegine sanitation upon the textiles in Sint. Carolus hospital, that has long phases/process that the planning of linen procurement is conducted, organizing in the process of the linen planning to come true, washing process, drying, pressure, and the redistribution of the cleaned linen and free of bacteriums (Hygiene dan Sanitasi). Hence in order to know how does the procedure of preventing the occurance of the infection of nonsocomial related to the Health and the Work Safety in the Hospital (K3RS) in the process of linen procurement in Sint. Carolus hospital.. v The result of this research is expected to useful to become the new guidline as the additional knowledge for the students graduated from Clothing subject to the laundry lines and the maintenance of textiles especially in the hospital. And has the benefit for the people in order to know the correct process of linen procurement. By that way beside getting the addtional knowledge the students and the people may apply this knowledge generally in daily life or if any willing to have the business in laundry lines, and acchieve the maximum result upon the dirty linen and also to pay atttefntion to the health and work safety level.
