Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara lingkungan keluarga dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa di SMIP Paramitha 1 Kalimalang Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua bulan terhitung sejak bulan April sampai Mei 2009. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah siswa SMIP Paramitha 1 Kalimalang Jakarta Timur dan populasi terjangkau adalah X Reguler dengan jumlah 108 orang. Dari jumlah populasi terjangkau tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 84 orang. Pengambilan sampel tersebut didasarkan pada tabel penentuan jumlah sample dari populasi tertentu dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ= 79,789 + 0,492 X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X menunjukan bahwa galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan yang menunjukan bahwa L hitung (0.0511) < L tabel (0,0967) dengan menggunakan uji liliefors pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil uji keberartian regresi diperoleh F hitung (12,69) > F tabel (3,96) yang menyatakan regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linearitas regresi diperoleh F hitung (1,45) < F tabel (1,76) yang menunjukan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,368 sedangkan hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh t hitung sebesar 3,562 dan t tabel sebesar 1,99. Dikarenakan t hitung > t tabel, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa di SMIP Paramitha 1 Kalimalang Jakarta Timur. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukan 13,54 % variasi variabel Y ditentukan oleh variabel X. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara lingkungan keluarga dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa di SMP Paramitha 1 Kalimalang Jakarta Timur. ***** This research has a purpose to know whether being gotten by relations that are positive between the Family Environment and the Studying Motivation to the Student SMIP Paramitha 1 of Kalimalang East Jakarta. This research was carried out while two months are counted from April to May 2009. The research method that is used is the survey method with the approach korelasional. The population from the research is the student the Student SMIP Paramitha East Jakarta and the population are covered am X Regular with the number 108 people. From the number of populations is covered this is made the sample totalling 84 people. The taking of this sample is based on the determination table of the number sample from the certain population with the level of the mistake 5%. Technically the taking of the sample in the research the random technique simple (Simple Random Sampling). Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Ŷ = 79,789 + 0,492X The analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable X is normal distributed. It is proved by the calculation that used Liliefors test at significant level (α) = 0,05 that indicates L counted (0.0511) < L table (0,00967). At the hypotesis test the significant and linear regression test are using variance analysis table (ANAVA). The result of the significant regression test indicates F counted (12,69) > F table (3.96). It state the formula of regression is significant. The result of the linear regression test indicates F counted (1,45) < F table (1,76). It state the regression model is linear. The coefficient of correlation counted by product moment formula by pearson indicates rxy = 0,368. While the result of correlation coefficient significant test indicates t counted = 3,562 and t table = 1,99. Because the result shows t counted > t table, the research indicates there is a significant correlation between the Family Environment and the Studying Motivation to the Student SMIP Paramitha 1 of Kalimalang East Jakarta. The counted of determination coefficient test indicates obtained equal to 13,54 % the variance of variable Y is determined by variable X. This matter is significantly increasingly high the Family Environment then increasingly high also the Studying Motivation to the Student SMIP Paramitha 1 of Kalimalang East Jakarta
