Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang ada tidaknya hubungan antara iklim sekolah dengan kepuasan kerja guru di SD Negeri Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Bekasi Timur. Variabel yang diteliti adalah iklim sekolah sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan kepuasan kerja guru sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan hasil analisis studi korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di SD Negeri Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu Bekasi Timur.sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Berdasarkan teknik tersebut ukuran sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 51 guru. Pengumpulan data untuk variabel iklim sekolah (X) dan kepuasan kerja guru (Y) menggunakan angket. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment di dapat koefisien korelasi (r) = 0.729 dan uji-t menghasilkan nilai sebesar 7,464 dengan uji satu pihak dengan dk = 50 serta taraf signifikansi α = 0.05 dari daftar signifikansi diperoleh t(49, 0,025) adalah sebesar 1.677 Ini berarti bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara iklim sekolah dengan kepuasan kerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kelurahan Bojong Rawalumbu. Dengan demikian diperlukan iklim sekolah yang kondusif untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru. Iklim sekolah perlu diciptakan oleh semua personel sekolah terutama kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin sekolah. Dengan iklim yang baik maka guru akan merasa nyaman berada di sekolah tersebut. Iklim yang baik juga akan berdampak positif bagi pencapaian tujuan sekolah. Iklim sekolah dapat diciptakan dengan melihat faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhinya seperti kualitas kepemimpinan, hubungan antar personel sekolah, lingkungan fisik dan imbalan. Selain itu komunikasi yang efektif juga dapat menciptakan iklim sekolah yang baik, sehingga hubungan antara personel sekolah dapat berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini tentunya akan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru. ***** This study aims to obtain empirical data about the relationship between school climate and job satisfaction of teachers in primary school of village Bojong Rawalumbu East Bekasi. The variables studied were the school climate as independent variables (X) and teacher job satisfaction as dependent variable (Y). the research method used is survey method with the results of analysis of correlational studies. The population in this study was a teacher at Village Elementary School Bojong Rawalumbu Bekasi Timur.sampel taken using proportionate random sampling technique. Based on these techniques the sample size used in this study were 51 teachers. Data collection for school climate variables (X) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) using a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing is done by using the product moment correlation formula to the correlation coefficient (r) = 0729 and t-test produces a value of 7.464 with one-party test with df = 50 and significance level α = 0.05 significance lists derived from t (49, 0.025) amounted to 1677 This means that thitung greater than ttable. While the implications of this study suggest a link between school climate and job satisfaction of teachers in Public Elementary School District Rawalumbu Bojong. Thus the required school climate that is conducive to improving teacher job satisfaction. School climate should be created by all personnel, especially school principals as school leaders. With a good climate, the teacher will feel comfortable in school. Good climate will also have positive impact for the achievement of school goals. School climate can be created by looking at factors - factors that influence it, such as leadership qualities, relationships between school personnel, physical environment and benefits. In addition, effective communication can also create a good school climate, so the relationship between school personnel can work well. This course will enhance job satisfaction of teachers.
