Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun pemahaman relasional siswa setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan PMRI pada materi barisan-deret aritmetika dan geometri di kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah design research. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-4 SMP Pelangi Kasih yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi (video dan rekaman suara), wawancara, dan pemberian soal tes berjumlah 5 soal yang berbentuk uraian. Penelitian ini memakai konteks Asian Games khususnya dalam cabang olahraga lari. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa lintasan belajar berdasarkan hipotesis lintasan belajar yang telah disusun sebelumnya. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, diperoleh bahwa pemahaman relasional siswa berkembang berdasarkan hasil tes akhir yang disusun berdasarkan empat indikator pemahaman relasional (to describe, to compare, to evaluate, dan to explain). ************************ This study aims to determine the students’ relational understanding after learning using the PMRI is done to the material of sequence and series of arithmetic and geometric in class VIII. This type of research is design research. The subjects of this study were 23 students of class VIII-4 Pelangi Kasih Junior High School. Data collection techniques used were observations (video and voice recording), interview, and giving 5 post test questions. This study use Asian Games as a context especially in run race. The result of this study is learning trajectory based on hypothetical learning trajectory that composed before experiment. Data analysing was descriptive. After the experiment, obtained that students relational understanding (to describe, to compare, to evaluate, and to explain) was developed based on post test results.
