Abstract
ABSTRAK ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui norma kesopanan apa saja yang ditanamkan oleh orangtua kepada remaja serta mendeskripsikan upaya transformasi norma kesopanan yang dilakukan oleh orangtua kepada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data utama dari penelitian akan didapat dari wawancara yang dilakukan dengan 4 (empat) orangtua dan 3 remaja kurang sopan, key informan dalam penelitian ini ketua RW 10 Kelurahan Kebon Pala, serta expert dalam penelitian yaitu Psikolog Sekolah SD Avicenna. Untuk memastikan kebeneran dilakukan teknik kalibrasi keabsahan dengan 4 tahap: member check, audit trail, triangulasi dan expert opinion. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan orangtua sudah menanamkan norma kesopanan sesuai dengan konsep norma kesopanan, seperti tegur sapa, menghormati orang yang lebih tua dan menjaga ucapan. Serta upaya orangtua dalam mentransformasikan norma kesopanan dilakukan berupa pemberian pemahaman dan nasihat kepada remaja, dalam pemberian pemantauan kepada remaja belum berjalan dengan maksimal. Dalam upaya mentransformasikan norma kesopanan terdapat 1) Penerapan pada kehidupan sehari hari berupa: bersikap baik, melakukan hal positif dan penggunaan bahasa. 2) Penerapan pada tata pergaulan remaja berupa: Orangtua mengenal pergaulan, orangtua memantau pergaulan, dan faktor penyebab remaja salah bergaul **************************** ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know what politeness norms are instilled by parents to adolescents and describe efforts to transform the norms of modesty done by parents to adolescents. This research is using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The main data resources were obtained from doing an interview with 4 (four) parents and 3 teenagers who are lack of politeness norm, a key informant in this research is Ketua RW 10 Kelurahan Kebon Pala, and the expert of this research is psychologist Avicenna elementary school. To ensure the validity, a 4-step validity calibration technique is carried out: member check, audit trail, triangulate dan expert opinion. The results of this study show that parents have instilled the norms of politeness in accordance with the concept of politeness norms, such as reprimand greetings, respect for older people and keep speech manners. And the efforts of parents in transforming the norms of politeness are done in the form of providing understanding and advice to adolescents, in providing monitoring to adolescents who have not been running optimally. In an effort to transform the norms of politeness there are 1) Application in daily life in the form of being kind, doing positive things, and using language. 2) Application of adolescent social intercourse in the form of Parents are acquainted with promiscuity, parents monitor relationships, and factors that cause teenagers to mingle
