Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses akulturasi budaya Cap Go Meh pada masyarakat etnis Tionghoa dengan masyarakat Sunda di Kota Bogor dan mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan baik dari pemerintah maupun masyarakat dengan adanya proses akulturasi budaya masyarakat etnis Tionghoa dengan masyarakat Sunda di Pecinan Suryakencana Kota Bogor dapat hidup bersama sebagai Warga Negara Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Peneliti melakukan pengamatan pada saat perayaan Cap Go Meh Kota Bogor tanggal 08 Februari 2020. Wawancara dilakukan pada informan yaitu masyarakat etnis Tionghoa dan Sunda di kawasan Suryakencana Kota Bogor berjumlah 4 orang, key informan berjumlah 1 orang dan expert yaitu dosen dari Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Budaya Universitas Pakuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan : Proses akulturasi budaya selain dalam perayaan Cap Go Meh Kota Bogor dengan tetap menampilkan kesenian dan budaya Tionghoa dan turut menampilkan kesenian dan budaya Sunda pada sisi lain terdapat akulturasi budaya yang ditemukan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan seperti bidang ekonomi, bahasa, makanan. Upaya pemerintah dan masyarakat dengan saling menghargai dan tidak pandang bulu dalam memberi dukungan untuk meyukseskan Cap Go Meh. Jadi, dengan begitu masyarakat Kota Bogor dapat hidup bersama sebagai Warga Negara Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to know the process of acculturation of Cap Go Meh culture in ethnic Chinese community with Sundanese people in Bogor City and know the efforts made both from the Government and society with the process of cultural acculturation of ethnic Chinese people with Sundanese people in Chinatown Suryakencana Bogor City can live together as an Indonesian citizen. This research used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Researchers observed during the celebration of Cap Go Meh Bogor on 08 February 2020. The interview was conducted on the informant namely the ethnic Chinese and Sundanese people in Suryakencana district of Bogor, 4 people, key informant amounting to 1 person and expert is a lecturer from the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences Pakuan University. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: The process of cultural acculturation in addition to the celebration of the Cap Go Meh of the City of Bogor by continuing to display Chinese arts and culture and also displaying Sundanese arts and culture on the other hand there are cultural acculturations found in various fields of life such as economics, languages, food . The efforts of the government and the community by respecting each other and not indiscriminately in providing support for the success of Cap Go Meh. So, that way the people of Bogor City can live together as Indonesian citizens.
