Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana proses pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta.Proses pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab terdiri dari pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab individu dan pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab sosial peserta didik di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan peserta didik serta guru dan pelatih ekstrakurikuler, pembina ekstrakurikuler, serta wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara serta studi dokumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak bulan Maret 2020 sampai dengan Juni 2020. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Proses pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab individu peserta didik di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta seperti adanya pemberian penugasan serta instruksi kepada peserta didik dalam ketiga kegiatan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, ekstrakurikuler, serta pembiasaan. (2) Proses pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab sosial peserta didik di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta adalah dengan adanya sikap kooperatif atau saling bekerjasama satu sama lainnya baik di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, ekstrakurikuler, maupun kegiatan pembiasaan. Pada sisi lain, di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran,ekstrakurikuler, maupun kegiatan pembiasaan, adanya apresiasi yang diberikan satu sama lainnya di dalam ketiga kegiatan tersebut. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Proses pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab individu peserta didik di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta dilakukan melalui beberapa kegiatan seperti proses kegiatan pembelajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta kegiatan pembiasaan (2) Proses pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab sosial peserta didik di SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta juga di lakukan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta kegiatan pembiasaan. This research aims to know the extent of the character development process of students responsibilities in SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta. Thedevelopment of the character of responbility consist of developing individual characters and developing the character of social responbility of students at SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta. The method of research used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach.Researchers conducted interviews with students as well as extracurricular teachers and trainers, extracurricular contractors, and deputy principal of student affairs at SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta.The data collection techniques used are interviews and document studies.The research was conducted from March 2020 to June 2020. The results of this study show that (1) the process of character development of individual students in SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta such as the provision of assignments and instruction to students in the third activities through learning activities, extracurricular, and habituation.(2) The process of character development of students ' social responsibility in SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta is with a cooperative attitude or cooperation with each other both in learning, extracurricular, and habituation activities.On the other hand, in the learning, extracurricular, or habituation activities, the appreciation is given to each other in the three activities. The research conclusion shows that (1) The process of character development of individual students in SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta is conducted through several activities such as learning activities process, extracurricular activities, as well as habituation activities (2) The character development process of students social responsibility in SMA Negeri 43 Jakarta is also done through learning activities, extracurricular activities, as well as habituation activities.
