Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi secara empiris mengenai Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia dalam melakukan Pemberdayaan Politik Perempuan guna membantu meningkatkan partisipasi politik perempuan. Penelitian ini dimulai pada bulan Maret hingga Mei 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi yang dilakukan kepada informan yaitu pengurus dan anggota Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia Wilayah DKI Jakarta dan Key Informant yaitu Sekretaris Jendral Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia. Kelengkapan data didukung oleh pendapat ahli. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia sebagai organisasi massa yang bergerak dalam memperjuangkan isu-isu perempuan mempunyai strategi untuk melakukan pemberdayaan politik perempuan kepada anggota, pengurus, kader maupun masyarakat sipil dengan melakukan Pendidikan kader berjenjang, Advokasi Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia, Pelatihan dan Pemantau Pemilu guna meningkatkan kompetensi, pengetahuan politik dan kesadaran akan pentingnya berpartisipasi dalam politik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah keberhasilan pemberdayaan politik perempuan yang diterapkan oleh Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia mendapatkan hasil yang positif telah terpenuhinya aspek yang terdapat dalam indikator pemberdayaan. Kegiatan pemberdayaan ini menghasilkan tingkat kesadaran perempuan untuk terlibat dalam berpartisipasi politik. This research aims to get information’s about the Koalisi perempuan indonesia in conducting women’s political empowerment to help increasing the political participation of women. This research conducted from March to Mei 2020. The research method used is qualitative. The tools used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies conducted to informants, administrators and members of the Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia Province of Jakarta and key informant, namely the secretary general of the Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia. Completeness of data is supported by expert opinion. The result of this research shows that the Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia as a mass organization engaged in fighting for women’s issues has a strategy to empower women’s political to members, management, cadres and civil society by conducting Tiered cade education, Advocacy Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia, Training and Monitoring Pemilu to improve competence, political knowledge and awareness of the importance of participating in politics. The conclusion of this research is that the success of women's political empowerment implemented by the Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia get positive results that have fulfilled the aspects contained in the empowerment indicators. This empowerment activity produces a level of awareness of women to be involved in political participation.
