Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai civic disposition (watak kewarganegaraan) apa sajakah yang diterapkan di sekolah dan bentuk aktualisasi civic disposition oleh siswa baik pada karakter privat dan karakter publik dalam pembelajaran PPKn di kelas X SMAN 31 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli - September 2019 dan bulan April 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dengan pengamatan terbatas dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 10 siswa kelas X SMAN 31 Jakarta, 1 orang key informan yaitu guru mata pelajaran PPKn kelas X SMAN 31 Jakarta serta dilengkapi oleh pendapat ahli (expert opinion). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah mengaktualisasikan karakter privat yaitu tanggung jawab moral, disiplin diri, penghargaan terhadap harkat dan martabat manusia. Serta karakter publik yaitu kepedulian sebagai warga negara, kesopanan, mengindahkan aturan, berpikir kritis, kemauan untuk mendengar, bernegosiasi dan berkompromi. Aktualisasi yang dilakukan sudah cukup baik meskipun beberapa karakter diantaranya belum maksimal diaktualisasikan. This research aims to determine the civic disposition values that applied in schools and the actualization of civic disposition by students both on private and public characters in Pancasila and Civic Education learning in grade 10 at SMAN 31 Jakarta. This research was conducted in July - September 2019 and April 2020. This type of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data collecting procedure being done with interviews, limited observation and documentation. The interviews were done to ten students in grade 10 at SMAN 31 Jakarta, also one key informant, the Pancasila and Civic Education subject teacher for grade 10 at SMAN 31 Jakarta and completed with expert opinion. The result of this research is student actualized privat character such as moral responsibility, self discipline, and respect for the worth and human dignity. Student also actualized public character such as public spiritedness, civility, respect for the rule of law, critical mindedness, and willingness to listen, negotiate, and compromise. Students have actualized civic disposition quite well, although some of the characters have not been maximally actualized.
