Abstract

Interaksi sosial merupakan kunci daripada semua kehidupan sosial. Etnis Tionghoa dan Muslim di pusat Kota Tangerang ini adalah salah satu contoh interaksi sosial yang baik antar umat beragama dimana, masyarakatnya hidup berdampingan secara rukun dan damai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola interaksi sosial antar umat beragama, sejarah bertemunya dua masyarakat (Muslim dan Tionghoa), proses dan faktor yang memengaruhi interaksi sosial antar umat beragama dapat terjadi dan terbentuk, dan bentuk-bentuk komunikasi sosial antar umat beragama verbal maupun non verbal di Kelurahan Sukasari Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini bersifat kajian lapangan (field research) dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan mewawancarai beberapa responden yang terkait dengan penelitian. Teori interaksi simbolik digunakan sebagai teori dasar dalam melakukan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bertemunya Masyarakat Muslim dan Tionghoa memunculkan interaksi sosial Antar umat beragama di kelurahan Sukasari. Proses terjadinya interaksi sosial sehingga menghasilkan pola interaksi sosial antar umat beragama yang baik dihasilkan dengan menjunjung tinggi toleransi, mengadakan berbagai kegiatan sosial bersama-sama dengan rukun dan damai. Selain interaksi sosial antar umat beragama yang baik, Pendidikan baik formal maupun agama juga sangat penting agar tiap individu dapat berpikiran terbuka dan tidak mudah terprovokasi atas isu-isu keagamaan. Social interaction is the key rather than all of social life. Ethnic Chinese and Muslims in Tangerang City center this is one example of social interaction between religious communities where people live side by side in harmony and peace. This study aims to determine the pattern of social interaction between religious communities, the history of convergence of the two communities (Muslim and Chinese), the process and the factors that influence the social interaction between religious communities can occur and the formed, and forms of social communications inter-religious verbal and non-verbal in Kelurahan Sukasari Tangerang City. This study is a field study (field research) by collecting data through observation and interviewing some of the respondents related to the research. Symbolic interaction theory is used as theoretical basis in the conduct of research. The results showed the convergence of the Muslim Community and the Chinese bring up the social interactions Between religious communities in the village of Sukasari. The process of social interaction so as to produce patterns of social interaction between religious people good is produced with a high regard tolerance, held a variety of social activities together with harmony and peace. In addition to the social interaction among people of a good religious, a good formal Education and religion are also very important so that individuals can be open-minded and not easily provoked over religious issues.
