Abstract

Di era yang semakin modern ini, tentu perkembangan teknologi tidak terlepasdari berbagai macam aspek baik sosial,budaya serta agama. Maka dari itu, seiring perkembangan zaman ini, agama sangat memegangperananpenting sebagai fondasi masyarakat di masa modern. Munculnya kelompok radikal tentu tidak luput dari perkembangan zaman.Sikap moderat beragama sangat diperlukan demi kemaslahatan seluruh umat manusia.Ada banyak cara dalam mendakwahkan ajaran Agama Islam salah satunya melalui tulisan. Novel merupakan sebuah media yang bersifat karya tulis dengan tata kebahasaan yang ringandan mudah dicerna dimanadidalamnya terdapat nilai-nilai moral.Persoalan terkait moderat cenderung baku pada setiap penyampaiannya. Maka dari itu diperlukan adanya alternatif lain dalam menSyiarkan paham moderat agar dapat diterima di kalangan masyarakatmodern. Salah satunya dengan pemanfaatan novel sebagai media yang mudah diterima oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat.Salah satunya adalah novel Bumi Cinta karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Yang diharapkan dapat mempengaruhi pembaca agar mengambil pelajaran dari setiap nilai moral yang ingin disampaikanpenulisnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konsep moderat dalam beragama pada novel Bumi Cinta karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Manfaat akademis bagi peneliti adalah sebagai bahan tambahan referensi mengenai kajian tentang moderat dalam beragama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Menggunakan metode analisis isi novel dengan melihat penggalan-penggalan kata yang terdapat dalam setiap paragraph. Pada teknik pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Teori yang digunakan adalah moderat dalam beragama dan analisis isi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep moderat yang terkandung dalam novel ini terdiri dari dua aspek yaitu Akidah dan Akhlak. Dimana pada aspek akidah meliputi: sikap tawassuth, musawah, tawazun dari tokoh utama Ayyas.Dan aspek akhlak yang meliputi: sikaptasamuh dan I’tidal. In this increasingly modern era, technological development is certainly not spared from influence of various aspects, such as social, cultural and religious. Therefore, along with the development of this era, religion is very important as the foundation of modern society. The emergence of radical groups certainly does not escape from the progress of an era. A religious attitude is very necessary for the benefit of all humanity. A moderate attitude of religion is necessary for the benefit of all mankind. There are many ways to preach the teachings of Islam, one of those ways is through literature. Novel is a written media with simple grammar and easy to digest writing from which contains moral value within. Moderation-related issue tend to be standardized in many presentation. Therefore, it is necessary to have another alternative in spreading the understanding of moderation within Islam so that it can be accepted by modern society. One of the viable ways by using novel as a medium that is easily accepted by modern society. An example of a novel is Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Which is expected to influence its readers to take lessons from every moral value that the writer wants to convey. This study aims to find a moderate concept in religion in the novel Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The academic benefit for researchers is as an additional reference material regarding the study of moderate religion. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Using the method of analyzing the contents of the novel by looking at words that contained in each paragraph. In the technique of data collection, researcher uses library research. The used theory is moderation in religion and content analysis. The results showed that the moderate concept contained in this novel consists of two aspects, namely faith and moral. Where the aspects of the faith include: tawassuth, musawah, tawazun from the main character, Ayyas. And the moral aspects which include: tasamuh and I’tidal attitudes.
