Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inflasi dan upah minimum terhadap tingkat konsumsi rumah tangga di Indonesia tahun 1989-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian merupakan data sekunder. Metode yang digunakan adalah Vector error correction model (VECM). Hasil analisis menggunakan Vector error correction model (VECM), didapatkan hasil: (a) Pada jangka panjang inflasi memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap konsumsi. Sedangkan pada jangka pendek inflasi memiliki hubungan yang negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap konsumsi (b) pada jangka panjang upah memiliki hubungan yang positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap konsumsi. Selain itu, pada jangka pendek Upah memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap konsumsi. This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and minimum wages on toward household consumptions at Indonesia. This research uses quantitative research methods. The data used in this research are secondary data. The method used is the Vector error correction model (VECM). The results of the analysis using the Vector error correction model (VECM) show the following results: (a) In the long run, inflation has a positive and significant relationship to consumption. Meanwhile, in the short run, inflation has a negative but insignificant relationship to consumption (b) in the long run, wages have a positive but insignificant relationship to consumption. In addition, in the short term wages have a positive and significant relationship to consumption.
