Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa semester akhir. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara non-probability sampling, yaitu accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk quarter life crisis merupakan adopsi dari alat ukur yang dibuat oleh Mutiara (2018) yang berlandaskan pada kuis Christine Hassler (2009). Sedangkan untuk instrumen kepercayaan diri merupakan adopsi alat ukur yang dibuat sendiri oleh Rasadi (2018) dengan berlandaskan teori kepercayaan diri positif Lauster (2003). Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi pearson yang selanjutnya dilakukan analisis regresi. Hasilnya terdapat hubungan negatif antara kepercayaan diri dan quarter life crisis. Selain itu, ada pengaruh yang signinfikant dengan kontribusi kepercayaan diri sebesar 50,2% terhadap quarter life crisis. This study aims to determine the influence of self-confidence towards quarter life crisis for final semester college students. This research method uses quantitative method. The sampling method for this study is one of the non probability samplings, which is accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used is an adopted instrument made by Mutiara (2018) based on Christine Hassler’s quiz (2009). Meanwhile, the measurement for self confidence variable is adopted from Rasadi (2018) based on positive self confidence theory by Lauster (2003). The statistic analysis used in this research are pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. The result shows that there is a relationship between self confidence and quarter life crisis, also quarter life crisis got influenced by self confidence in the amount of 50,2%.
