Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara adult attachment style dengan subjective well-being pada suami di DKI Jakarta yang memiliki istri bekerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 143 pria dewasa awal (21-40 tahun) di DKI Jakarta yang berstatus kerja dan menikah, usia pernikahan 0-5 tahun, dan memiliki istri yang juga bekerja. Pengambilan data adult attachment style dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi instrumen gaya kelekatan dewasa dari Norhafizha Rinanda. Kemudian, pengambilan data subjective well-being dilakukan dengan mengadopsi instrumen Satisfaction with Life Scale (SLS) untuk mengukur kepuasan hidup dan The Expanded Form of Positive and Negative Affects Schedule (PANAS-X) untuk mengukur keseimbangan afek. Uji analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotetsis dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keempat adult attachment style dengan kepuasan hidup, dengan nilai sig. (p) secara berturut-turut yaitu secure attachment = 0,005 dan r hitung = 0,236, preoccupied attachment = 0,018 dan r hitung = -0,2000, dismissing attachment = 0,005 dan r hitung = -0,237, dan fearful-avoidant attachment = 0,013 dan r hitung = 0,209. Sedangkan hasil menunjukkan bahwa dari keempat adult attachment style, hanya dismissing attachment yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan keseimbangan afek, dengan nilai sig. (p) = 0,040 dan r hitung = 0,174. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara adult attachment style dan subjective well-being dalam penlitian ini tidak mencakup nilai kesejahteraan secara utuh. This research was conducted to find the correlation between adult attachment style and subjective well-being in young adult male with working wife in DKI Jakarta. This research used quantitative approach with questionnaire as its data collection technique. The subject in this research was a total of 143 working young adult male (21-40 year old) in DKI Jakarta who are married, with marriage age range from 0-5 years, and has working wife. The data collecting for adult attachment style variable was done by adapting adult attachment style instrument by Norhafizha Rinanda. Furthermore, the data collecting for subjective well-being variable was done by adopting Satisfaction with Life Scale (SLS) to measure life satisfaction and The Expanded Form of Positive and Negative Affects Schedule (PANAS-X) to measure the affect’s balance. Statistical analysis test that was used to verify the hypothesis was partial correlation. The result showed that there’s a significant correlation between the four adult attachment style with life satisfaction, with Sig. (p) for secure attachment = 0,005 and r = 0,236, Sig. (p) for preoccupied attachment = 0,018 and r = -0,200, and Sig. (p) for dismissing attachment = 0,005 and r = -0,237 and Sig. (p) for fearful-avoidant attachment = 0,013 and r = 0,209. The result also showed that from the four adult attachment style, only dismissing attachment style that has significant correlation with affect’s balance, with Sig. (p) = 0,040 and r = 0,714. Therefore the conclusion of this research is the correlation between adult attachment style and subjective well-being didn’t cover the value of well-being as whole.
